Rhyming Rodeo Roundup
« on: March 05, 2011, 09:15:21 PM »

I go by TwicePipes, not burdened with shame
Rose still a Rose, no matter it's name

I'm downing the gauntlet, I'm daring your quill
Take your best shot, I've better yet still

Respond with rhyme, we'll soon discover
A fun new way, to reach to each other

It's easy to do, but you have to start
I know your tempted, done be a fart

There once was a place called 'Talks
It reached people on all walks

From walks of gold we found
Anybody could be crowned

King for a day,
Or Queen of the May.

I'll try again, lets see who's in
It's no big deal, It'll make you grin

Half asleep, or half a brain
Once you start, it's right as rain

We have some games, and their good ones to.
Just had an Idea for something new

Some you can count on, and they'll take a chance
Backs off the wall, and join the dance

It's hard to start, it's tough I know
Don't give up, the quips will flow

The more you do it, the better you'll get
Come on you dudes, show you've got a set

Drove over the bridge, saw the river was high
Buy the middle of summer, it'll all be dry

And there it sat, like a big orange log
My favorite place to get a dog

The water must stop, and it must stop soon
I was planning to lunch there, tomorrow at noon

TwicePipes rhymes with a flowing ease,
He makes it seem like it's a breeze.
Rhyming this and then rhyming that,
Makes me feel like Cat in the Hat.

Let's ask Pop to cook us some ham,
I'll get the green eggs then call Sam.
Oh my! Please TwicePipes say Stop!”
Don't let me go hop hop hop on Pop!

Let's have some fun, let's run, let's hide,
Let's trick or treat, let's stay inside.
Let's cook green eggs and eat that ham,
Come on TwicePipes and Sam I-Am!

Now we're cooking, and I don't mean ham
Those eggs look green sitting next to Spam

Alter ego, is that of thee?
Matters not, you answered me.

Inside it is, cuz I don't like snow
Checking this thread, to see who'll show

Brewing a pot, burning the toast
A crappy day, I'll make the most

The sun is out, it sure feels good
The snow is melting, as well it should

March is here, Lamb or Lion
That old saying, I ain't buy'in

I feel like a bear, I must awaken
From winter's nap, that I've been taken

Taking a break, Going to go outside
Making an effort, to quicken my stride

I'll be gone, but I'll be back
Why don't you, pick up the slack?

Grammatically correct, I know it's not
Sometimes I fudge, to fill a slot

Eriemermaid's my name
You know I'm game

But I can't rhyme
Even if you gave me a dime

In school I was smart
And I had a heart

But my rhyming skill
Has gone downhill

So now that I've posted
I hope I don't get roasted

Eriemermaid, you're brave to try
No keeping score, so don't be shy

The more you do it, the easier it gets
Soon enough, you'll be placing bets

Here's that dime, to get you started
Take us now, to waters uncharted

As long as we're betting
I'm putting my "dime"
on ol' Fuzz's begetting
that "twice-meaning" rhyme.

Though it seems he is quiet
His pen's surely blazing
and his dependable diet
will bring a gem most amazing .

This ain't no one woman show
Tea and Erie's at the rodeo.

Today there's sun
And it's all in fun

So, hey everyone take some time
And build a rhyme

See we're already at three's
MM1 made one in a breeze.

I am no good at rhyme,
But was once upon a time.

Words are such fun
You can even make a pun

But one thing I learned
Once a sentence is turned

That no matter how you try
You can rhyme with sky…

But not with orange.

LMAO.....I so, so wanted to jump in on this one with an R rated, well, possibly X, version of an Irish limerick that has some rhyme to it but I best not.

Give me some time MM1, I may have to get creative on this one and possibly need some inspiration.   ;)
