That doctor has probably been under investigation for a long time.  I know that he's really free with prescribing OXY, Vicodin and other drugs (not from personal experience). He had to know it was coming. If you live near or drive on Laplaisance Rd you had to know something was up. There are too many ohio "patients" coming off the exit ramp and I have never seen a pain management doctor with billboards.

I'm sure they will be doing the same with the medical marijuana clinics,  State and Local police need to raise the revenues to keep patrols out there...
Those claim you can fill it out online and a doctor will "review" for the $100 fee with a guaranteed acceptance or your money back... (according to the commercials on the radio).

Like you are ever going to be "denied" online 8*

I'm so excited! and relieved that Dr. Evil has been put down...they have alot on him, so I pray that this sticks! He has destroyed so many families/people with his disgusting quest for money...he's simply a filthy beast and I hope he gets what he deserves...

I work at another drs office in Monroe.  Dr. Linares no longer takes insurance from anyone. It's cash paying customers only.  He sits in an office and "sees" his "patients" through video chat. It's nothing more than a gigantic drug operation hiding under his title of "Doctor".  Shame on him for abusing his license and trust like this.

Yes, he has been under suspicion for a very long time.  I am happy to see this finally go down and I hope he gets whats coming to him.  We have a HUGE pill addiction problem in this county with teens and young adults and it's money hungry creeps like this that are responsible for it.

Went by just before noon and saw this going down then.  Came back by a little after 3 and there were still 2 patrol cars there and officers were going in and out of an adjacent business named Multi-Specialty Group.  There were "Business Closed" signs posted in the windows of both places.

Wow, what a hornet's nest. I hope the Monroe community can find a way to help the people he "treated" be it a true pain or addiction difficulty.

Munrow is going to get some big time press out of this story >:( >:( >:(

Already in the Free Press and in Crain's Business news...   which seems kind of strange...

Most of the same info as the last story from the MEN website...

So happy this person was busted!!!!! happy day! One less greedy, evil, harmful fool in the world. well, at least for a while.  Very interesting that his website has the "diversion/abuse prevention and detection" section.

Humph! good riddance!

wow, no wonder the youth of our community have such a drug problem.  With this guy lurking in the shadows and the recent scandal of our OMNI team one has to ask "is any one really fighting the drug war' in Monroe County?
