Did a little quick math on this...   he had to be seeing patients at the rate of one every 2 minutes in order to get 240 through the clinic in an 8 hour day...

There is an interview with one of the employees here:

This is about what my wife saw when she was picking up our lunch at Wendy's on Laplaisance road...

Photo from the MEN website:

When we were back by there a little after 3 there were only two sheriff patrol cars left and they were parked in front of the doors of the Multi-Specialty Group that you can see in the photo...

Just talked to a friend from out of town and he asked me what people in Monroe are going to do now that they can’t pop a few Oxycontin and head out to the dogfights anymore.  It seems like Monroe is becoming “famous” for all the wrong reasons.

Yep, it's just one embarrassing news story after another. So sad.... Monroe was such a pleasant, pretty, and safe town when I was growing up here. Now everything is turning seedy, even in my 'formerly nice' neighborhood. I used to walk to school by myself when I was in Kindergarten. But now between the drug peddlers and kidnappers, the stoned drivers and registered sex offenders, crazy guys with guns and bank robbers, and bully kids coming up with very little parenting there's no way I'd let my kids walk alone!

I can't wait to get out of this town. I wonder if Monroe will see the same 25% population exodus that Detroit has?

Yep this guy has created a lot of addicts. What this will probably lead to is an increase in heroin use around here. It has ruined and taken many lives.

My nephew just got back from rehab in Florida. He was on pills here and so are a lot of his friends. The pills are everywhere and now i see why. This is just ridiculous that a doctor was just passing out highly addictive pills like it was Halloween.

Geez.  5 million scripts.  Now, what will happen to all those addicts?  Less deputies on the road to respond to break ins, city cops responding to fires and medicals and having to stay on the scene, state police down on manpower at the Monroe post.  EVERYBODY needs to take up arms to protect their families and properties.  Personally, I do not like firearms, but with reduced police presence, every man/woman for themselves.
