This time of year the fireworks shows are nice, we see them, hear them, sometimes feel them and smell them, but I've never heard of anyone tasting them. If you were to see a fireworks show with only your eyes, the other four senses a blank canvas for you to create yourself, what would you create?

Choreographed music performed by a full symphony orchestra.  No words, just music.  Any kind of music; Classical, Beatles, Zepplin.  Just music flowing in beat with each blast of color.

Feelings? When I see them, I think about the men and women who fought and is still fighting for this country. I think about all the Mothers who received word that their son or daughter has died in war. I think about how lucky I am for living in the land of the free. Emotions... Lots of emotions and thankfulness.

To MM1's point, several years ago I took the fam and went to Toronto to see the International Firework Competition at Exhibition Park.  Several countries had barge platforms anchored off in Lake Ontario and it was choreographed to classical music.

The most amazing night of fireworks I've ever witnessed....and no, China did not win.  Surprisingly it was France.
