Learned On-Line
« on: August 18, 2011, 04:33:33 PM »

Anyone ever learn how to do something on-line?

I don't mean by an on-line college course... I mean something you wanted to learn and decided to look it up and start doing it.

BTW, I did. I've been learing how to make thing's out of balloons. Animals, Swords, Guns.

Tons! Lots of cooking, crafts, DIY stuff. Like I said, the Internet is my other brain! The most educational tool I could ever imagine.

Hardly a day goes by I'm not looking up some how-to info or downloading a .pdf manual on something...

I belong to several Yahoo groups for my different tractors, tillers, cameras, etc...   I get overloaded on info from them.

Amazing what you can find on YouTube that someone has put together a video for 8) 8) 8)

Looking back, I really don't know how I got along without the internet before I could do all of this ;) ;) ;)

I don't know how I ever survived without access to information online.

From recipes to "How To's" on just about anything to mapping various routes and planning both realistic and dream vacations.  Not to mention the immediate resolutions to various memory failures.  (Not as though THAT happens a lot, but when it does the answers are close at hand.)  ;D
