Super Bowl Menu
« on: February 03, 2012, 11:12:30 AM »

I thought it would be cool to share what our Super Bowl menus are...With so much political banter this time of year, it's nice to do something that's just FUN...

Around here it's going to be conqueso dip with tortilla chips.
Homemade pizza with pick your own toppings.
And to round it out, slow cooked country style ribs with some sweet baby rays.

I need a food idea that will serve about 20 people (mostly young men) I'd like something warm, but don't want to do chili or sloppy joes. I was thinking of a taco bar or Phillie steaks but that's a little costly. Any ideas?

Hmm, my top 2 ideas would have been chili or sloppy joes...LOL

The taco bar is a good one, I don't think that would be too costly either...

Thanks honey. I've decided to go with mini sliders. Meatballs, cheese, little sliced bread and pizza sauce on the side if anyone wanted a little meatball sub slider lol

That sounds REALLY good, Aunt Lisa!! Do you just cut regular sandwich bread down to size?
