You obviously don't get my point.

I think what you are saying is that there should be special rights for specific groups...Nothing to do with equality, but special protection.

 ;D

I welcome all the sexual harassment I can get...lol

In all reality he doesn't stand a snowballs chance in Hell...But I would vote for him because I'm sick of the carbon copies that take the office.  He's no better OR worse than the rest of the lot.  Newt is a racist, Bachman is a racist(they both hate Muslims), and I'm sure Romney just hides it well(FFS he's a Mormon, they don't take kindly to other religions)...Everyone of them is a scum bag crocked money taker with dark thoughts they don't share!  At least Paul is brave enough to speak his OWN mind.  Sometimes a truth hurts and people don't like to be reminded of reality when it's controversial.

OK, I get it, you hate the man...Does that mean I have to follow you?  I like you fluffy, you make good points and I do understand your stance on the harassment.   As for the racist thing, he didn't write what was in the newsletter, yet again, I tend to agree with what was stated...I've lived it and seen it first hand in Detroit.  Call me all the names in the book, it doesn't change the fact I have a right to believe what I believe to be a realistic statistic.

Good one ussoccer.

Here's a real terrorist, but hey, set him free as a sign of good faith.

At AEI’s blog, Marc Thiessen provides the low-down on Mullah Mohammed Fazi, one of the Taliban terrorists President Obama envisions releasing from Gitmo, in return for … nothing — it is the super-power’s way to plead with the terrorists to please please come to the negotiating table, nothing more (although I’m certain it makes our “mediator’s” day).

As Marc recounts, Fazi is still detained because the military assessed him to be a “high risk,” if released, to return to the jihad and kill Americans. He is also wanted by the U.N. for war crimes, implicated in the murder of thousands of Shiites while serving as the (Sunni) Taliban’s army chief of staff. Moreover, he is a narcotics trafficker; he has continued agitating against the U.S. while detained at Gitmo; he is so high up in the Taliban that he got away with threatening the organization’s emir, Mullah Omar; and our military concluded that he would pose a threat to the Afghan government — the construction of which is a large part of the reason our forces have been putting their lives on the line in Afghanistan for a decade.

Marc includes our military’s own threat assessment spelling the above out in painful detail. He also refers to a post by Michael Rubin with these important observations:

Obama has sought not only to engage the late Libyan dictator Muammar Qadhafi, current Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad, and the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, but also Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez. In each case, poorly considered dialogue backfired on U.S. interests and, more often than not, on the people living under the thumbs of these dictators or Islamist groups.

Now word comes that Obama wants not only to talk to the Taliban, but also to reward it for coming to the table by releasing high-value detainees before a new round of talks even begins. Forgotten is the fact that between 1995 and 2000, the Clinton administration and its State Department undertook high-level negotiations with the same Taliban leaders who lied and stalled, hemmed and hawed, in order to protect Osama Bin Laden as he planned 9/11. Alas, just over a decade after 9/11, Obama and his aides seem intent on repeating the mistakes that led to that day.

LOL...Of course the righties will bad-mouth Obama every chance they get....it's part of their agenda to get rid of him at all costs.

And the left isn't happy with him either but for totally different reasons.

It's difficult to find anyone that aligns 100% with the views of any particular person but as it stands....Obama is far better than any of the Repukes in the race.

It's the Republicans that caused the mess in the first place and continues to make things worse solely for political gain.

Sorry if the chart is hard to see, I also provided a link to the article explaining the chart. Basically this chart represents the shocking number of people who hold some form of higher education, yet work a lesser job. The chart totals 2,383,031 people.

All I will say on this is that it is a foolish notion to even think about releasing a known high level terrorist.  I don't buy it!  More mud slinging against Obama is what it seems to me...I don't say this because I support Obama, but the fact that name calling and mud slinging is Americas favorite activity...

I will also say that communication is the ONLY way this madness will end...If you think killing everyone who doesn't agree with you is the answer you're more warped than any terrorist.

*Also, the Clinton administration did not deal with the same Taliban leaders, most of them are DEAD!

What in Gods name happened to the freedom of speech?

We voted it away when some Saudis crashed some planes into some buildings.

Such is life.

Not to mention they were being disorderly.

FFS pull a permit and hand out pamphlets, most people hate it when small groups of people just start screaming in cramped places.  I bet 85% of people missed this groups message because they dook the donkeyass way of presenting it.  They were looking for trouble and found it.

I'm sure some people missed out on the message but it's far more effective to force your message into someones ears over handing out pamphlets. Pamphlets can be avoided. Also they were shouting not screaming, there is a difference.

Disorderly how? And were in the first amendment does it say they cannot peaceably assemble and exercise their freedom of speech?

I guess, it's the fact they didn't ask for permission first...Not like they would get it anyways...People just don't want to hear about the problems, they would rather hide their heads in the sand and let the machine roll on, while they wait for the next episode of American Idol...It's far easier to say those hippys don't know what they're talking about, than to accually listen and think about it.  Using your brain just takes way too much effort, they want to be told how to think and then tell others their view point is right.

Ah see they do have permission. The first amendment. I guess you had better use them before you lose them too.
