Probably the only time I'll make the paper...the obit.

No, it was a full page article about charting the history of Monroe County and if I recollect right, you do that sort of stuff.  Just curious for my wife.....

he'd probably do a better job finding the person from a historical study/commission.   
Open up the records and give someone a shot.

I hope that Nevaeh's family and friends find some comfort today and are able to reflect on the times that they did have with her. That baby girl would have been 9 years old if she had been allowed to live.  I am keeping the faith that those responsible will reap what they have sown.  I also ask that Nevaeh keeps shining her light down as a reminder that "you never know who is a sex offender, unless they're labeled"  Be judgemental...be very judgemental!
And praying that LE finds what they need for all I's to be dotted and t's crossed soon.
Anyone who may know something and figures someone already turned it in...turn it in again just in case.

Is there a sex offender aspect to this crime that I'm not aware of? 

IMO, it seems something is missing with this case.  At the time I lived on Michigan Ave and drove by her families apt. every day . . . tons of kids and people . . . somebody saw something if the story we are told is what really occured . . IMO.

Will Sweat; not necessarily an aspect but then again I guess we won't know that until they disclose the "who done it".  Just a way to remind parents that they do need to be aware of who they are allowinig access to their kids.  Possibly not the best place to post it but if ten parents read it and remind ten others then it was worth taking a minute to mention it.  I have heard many people say the same about how busy it was there, I don't get how nobody noticed either but she hadn't been living there that long if memory serves me...maybe people didn't recognize her as supposed to have been there. Maybe they just seen it as another kid playing at a friends and when she was gone noone thought about it being odd.  Who knows.

Never knew that the family had not been living there long - that would make sense that maybe nobody really "knew" them. 

I hope that someday there is a resolution to this case and pray that it happens sooner rather than later.

I can't find that particular article yet but I found one where they say Sherry gave someone a tour of the apartment at Charlotte Arms a year prior to Nevaeh's murder.   I will keep looking but again many of the links I had saved are no longer working.
