yup. I feel the guy's passion, and his ideas sound interesting in theory, but still.. lol.
And to the topic of Newt. I think I just saw a Rasmussen poll showing Nationwide Newt 38% and Mitt 17%.
I'm amused. The tea party is theoretically VERY antiestablishment, but they are currently throwing their support behind one of the most establishment candidates out there, one who, might I add, can't possibly go after the morality vote with a straight face.
He might be a smart guy but he's political suicide. That and he's pretty much the physical embodiment of Beltway Politics (ie more of the same).
Good game, Republicans, good game. Democrats will have an absolute field day with his infidelity, his tantrums in Congress, his responsibility for the government shutdown, and so on.
Then again, this could be just another blip in the "anyone but Romney" circle. First Bachmann, then Perry, then Cain, now Gingrich. About the only folks left in that parade are Huntsman (Ew! He talked to Obama sometimes! SOCIALIST KENYAN!) and Ron Paul (Uncle, mattress, etc).
The conservative politics in this country astound me. At least get an electable dictator, not these nincompoops.
