There was another debate tonight...

I especially enjoyed this comment...

"FAST FOOD REPUBLICANS
Submitted by XXXXX on Tue, 11/22/2011 - 22:36.

Gingrich is pure stupidity. He's a serial adulterer who served his terminally ill wife with divorce papers and appeared with Pelosi in and ad promoting an awareness of Global Warming. He supported an individual mandate on health care.

What is wrong with the Republican party? Are they really that stupid? Must we continually refer to Newt as "Speaker" when he was disgraced with a censure for ethics problems???? REALLY?"

Newt vs Paul on the subject of the patriot act.

I agree with Paul. What are you willing to give up for a degree of safety? Wish Paul hadn't used McVeigh to argue his point though.   :P

McVeigh is dead and this is the kind of stuff Newt and the boys at Bilderburg
LOVE today. Wonder if they think this stuff up while they are hanging out at the Grove?

Fusion Center documents label OKC Bombing investigators as terrorists

OKLAHOMA CITY – Ten years after 9/11 and 16 years after the Oklahoma City bombing, it appears the federal government continues to view some Americans who embrace their First Amendment rights – press and speech, primarily – as a danger to the State, and as a result they are listing certain investigative websites as extremist and a terroristic threat to the “homeland.”

Is this conquest or consent?

Sure looks like consent to me.

yup.  I feel the guy's passion, and his ideas sound interesting in theory, but still.. lol.

And to the topic of Newt.  I think I just saw a Rasmussen poll showing Nationwide Newt 38% and Mitt 17%.

I'm amused. The tea party is theoretically VERY antiestablishment, but they are currently throwing their support behind one of the most establishment candidates out there, one who, might I add, can't possibly go after the morality vote with a straight face.

He might be a smart guy but he's political suicide. That and he's pretty much the physical embodiment of Beltway Politics (ie more of the same).

Good game, Republicans, good game. Democrats will have an absolute field day with his infidelity, his tantrums in Congress, his responsibility for the government shutdown, and so on.

Then again, this could be just another blip in the "anyone but Romney" circle. First Bachmann, then Perry, then Cain, now Gingrich. About the only folks left in that parade are Huntsman (Ew! He talked to Obama sometimes! SOCIALIST KENYAN!) and Ron Paul (Uncle, mattress, etc).

The conservative politics in this country astound me. At least get an electable dictator, not these nincompoops.

Bachmann... God I can't stand hearing her talk, especially when wishing Elvis a happy birthday.

Perry...  Seems to be W 2.0, oops.

Cain...  Next female to accuse cain  of anything will be promptly pimp slapped. Apart from that, seems likeable enough.  But unless a question can be answered with 999, not a lot going for him.

Huntsman/Santorum... Who are they?  Is that the guy with the kids?

Mitt...  The just settle for me candidate.

Newt... Perhaps being in the white house will earn him enough XP for another wifely upgrade.

RonPaul.. Yup, uncle, mattress, and suit three sizes too big.

However, I am excited to see the Newt vs Mitt lovefest play out.  The gloves have to come off eventually and the destruction left will make room for my man Rudy to step in and save the day.

OK. Most of topic negative on Newt. So let me ask you this. Would we be better off electing Obama for another term or would we be better off with Newt? That could very well be the choice. Who will better "lead" us into a brighter future?
