I visit several times a day, but only log on a couple of times a week.  It seems like a lot of threads are started that for most just aren't that interesting.  Many others are MEN headlines, so it seems a bit redundant.

What seems like ages ago, there didn't seem to be such a "my way or the highway" mentality here.  Sure, there were differences of opinion and it sometimes got heated, but it usually didn't reach the levels it seems to reach nowadays.  Just my opinion and I know it ain't worth much.

If it is okay, then why has every post on this topic been critical of one topic?  Just block it already.

I'm critical of the constant arguments (which is typically in the Politics & Religion threads . . . . although as previously mentioned ANY thread can and has busted out in personal attacks).  I will block a thread or category when I feel moved to do so.  That's not the point at all anyway.

I think posts will come back beyond the handfull of posters now when the extremes level out.  Right now, it's pretty much politics.  NOT an interest for me and many I'm sure.  But I continue to look in and I post when I see something that interests me.

Arpydave, yes . . . the novelty has passed.  But, that's OK.  Not posting just to hear yourself talk or see your name is hilarious!  GREAT advice! ! ! !   ;D  Holding the posts when emotional is also great advice.

ell, I clearly remember the "mentality" of not so long ago and because of that I try to avoid the politics and religion stuff anymore so I don't know about it being elevated from that time.  But the sheer thought sends a chill down my back.   I can't imagine it being uglier.

But, never say never I guess.  :-\

Years ago, when MT was at it's peak, a LOT of discussions were about sex, or innuendos in that direction.

It was a lot of harmless fun.

I say we try to salvage MT by bringing those discussions back!    ;D

One night I finally got the courage to ask my mother why God had changed, why He was so angry with His children. “I don’t know,” she said as she tucked the covers around me. “I guess He just got tired of all the bullshlt.”

I'm not sure I agree with that.

Guest Views are typically high
.  At this moment, they are 22 and spiders are 8 and users are 2.

I think the visits to this forum remain consistent and relatively high.  It's just the number of people choosing to actually participate in "conversations" that have waned dramatically.  And, that's reflective of something I think we all understand.

No graph needed.   JMO

Well the graph says differently.

The page views were their highest whenever there was a major blow out on the forum, or during the time leading up to an election cycle, or during the Neveah incident.

Well.  I still don't agree with your graph.  But, it's a very nice graph.  ;D

I try to avoid those threads because I am on the shy side.

I was never very good at innuendo.....I guess another introverted trait of mine.

You can agree or not, makes no difference.

But they are factual representations using the websites own data.

Where is Fuzz? Somebody invaded and kidnapped our regular Fuzz.
Yes, the innuendo was fun, but some were offended. No matter what it seems somebody takes something as it wasn't intended. From here on out, all innuendo is intended!  8)

;D It might be scrawny and losing its needles, but it's ours, dangit, and we love it!  ;D

Exactly! Everyone has their flaws! Nobody is "RIGHT or WRONG" just different opinions.

I'm positive the old Fuzz is out there beating his fingers with a hammer, biting his tongue, and possibly convulsing.

Wow, this thread seems to have struck a sensitive spot! Guess a lot of us do still care about MT.

The "inny" days were lots of fun! And I miss that kind of camaraderie, the laughter, the silliness, the rounds of "good nights," and sharing in special occasions, the first few hysterical Gatherings.  8)

I guess that history is what keeps me here.
