I finally figured out my scanner, well, my youngest daughter gave me step by step instructions.  Yup, me and technology resist each other once again.

Very laborious and I'm still thinking I will get them scanned then photo edit them for the final loading of the frames.

But OMG.....the pics I have found are unbelievable.  Having a ball!

I had forgotten just how much of a long-haired hippie I really was.   ;D

So glad you're on your way Fuzz.  It's one of those projects that you'll find yourself lost in for hours.  (But it sounds like you've already figured that part out)  :)  :)  :)

The only thing better than gathering all those memories up again is looking at the faces when they open their gifts Christmas morning.

I have a different kind of photo project I'm doing myself.  I went on a shoot today and didn't realize I had taken +200 shots.  The world melts away when I'm looking through my lens and with 1 card in the camera and 3 spares in my camera bag (each able to hold 1500 pics) there's no reason to limit the shots I take.   Now I have to review and edit the cream of the crop and decide which ones I'll be using.  LOTS of details to look over.  But SO fun!

I have heard of women who melt away in front of a camera too.   ;D

I'm noticing that there are not many pictures of me around (the few that there are are dandies though), guess I was always the dude taking the pictures.

I've been working on this, also. My parents had tons of slides that I'm trying to figure out. Interesting side story. In trying to identify pictures of Alaska on Facebook I actually found my biological family. (I was adopted) It was quite a thing. But, anyway, does your scanner fix the pictures, also?

Mine doesn't.  I have scanned some in and then opened them up under a photo editor.

Mine has limited editing, but I understand there are some photo editors out there that does better jobs on restoration than mine does.

My scanner does it automatically. It's pretty neat.
Here's a link to a photo on Snapfish. I see they charge 35 cents each to scan photos so you're saving a lot of money! lol I had thought about offering this service but my price was going to be waaaay lower than that! lol The slides are the most impressive.
