They pay their players better, and offer much more money to the writers that vote for their schools. That's the only thing that makes sense, since the other schools in other conferences win more often than not against them in bowl games.

So LSU pummeling pretty much everyone was due to offering writers money?

Last I heard it was Big Slow schools involved in paying players and molesting children. Not SEC schools.

Not this season, but in many years past, yes. Years when they were barely above average yet held a top 5 ranking. Most definitely.

Lets see OSU put a paid for team out there twice and got spanked.

Come on now. We know you are envious of the SEC. Just come out and admit it.

I'm not envious of anything, no need to lie. If paying players were legal, every conference would be just as good. The other conferences just care more about following the rules.

Not that I'll defend OSU (and I wish you were right) but their players were taking goods and services, no proof of money. Though I wish there would be so they'd be in more trouble.

See when Big10 and other conferences find out about cheating, they turn in the offenders. It's called fair play, maybe the SEC could try it? I doubt it.

I wouldn't say I am envious as I respect the SEC as the current dominating conference in college football.  I'm still a Michigan fan but I don't necessarily consider myself a fan of any conference in particular.  Teams, yes.  Conference, no.

I like the tradition of Alabama and Bear Bryant.  Georgia and Auburn have some great tradition too.

I can also say there are teams in the Big 10 other than Michigan I like out of tradition and respect as well....namely those lousy Buckeyes, and Penn State.

I like to consider myself a fan of the game to be quite frank.

And yeah SEC is good, but I can't envy a conference that I don't respect. SEC plays for money. They have no tradition, no pride, and morals.

Bowl season this year the Big10 will spank that soft SEC *** and I'll be on here everyday letting you know about it.

Yeah Cam Newton was a freebie right?  NCAA just looked the other way.

Dad got the money not Cam...   wink wink, nod nod,  it sets up the pay to play system sanctioned by the NCAA.

To much power and money in the BCS to have the NCAA do anything but the bookkeeping.
Can't wait for the Field goal Bowl II game's ratings if they let it happen.

Heck I'm guessing even if Georgia wins - they will pay enough for it to happen.
Didn't they use to say if you can't win your own conference you shouldn't be in the title game of the BCS?   I guess that only applies to the schools who don't pay enough!

Except Alabama could beat everyone else in the Top 25 by 14 at least. Keep your reasons coming boys!

Wow I just realized who was in the SEC.  Might as well call it the MAC south.  The SEC only has four teams that will challenge for the SEC title.  The other schools are junk.  Lets look at the facts.  The big 10 on the other hand has at least 7 teams that could legitimately win the conference title each year.  So not only do you play a weak non conference schedule your actual conference is a joke with the exception of one or two games.

You didn't know Vanderbilt and Ole Miss are potential powerhouses acording to that guy who is wihtout a team - but roots for a conference.

Even Northwestern has made it to the Rose Bowl...

Yes but the Big Slow title is meaningless no more worthy of mention than winning a T Ball championship.
