I do more than just blog, ridicule Democrats and establishment Republicans,  cut and paste articles/links, watch YouTube clips about Ron Paul and this necessary mission to restore moral character in government ... I actually get involved because my children demand it of me, and our founders advised me to; since they did it for me ... Just received this email today ...

"John,
I have submitted your name as a delegate
You need to pay your registration fee of $50 by Friday, May 18
Look forward to meeting you at the convention, Paul"

So off to the State convention I intend to go ... and there I only intend to make sure to;

1) We don't allow any votes to be counted behind doors, and
2) We don't allow any ballot boxes to disappear behind closed doors on their way to being counted.

I will be respectful, and silent; I will not boo or chant, be disruptive or obnoxious - we will make motions if there is anything we object to(such as them breaking their own rules to advance their agenda for the cronies and kingmakers who simply want to retain power and status to please their National bosses), and, I will stick around in hopes of becoming a Precinct Committeeman in the district where I live; because those are the people that can CHANGE a party from within in hopes that we beging to pick better candidates to support/represent us than the media does.

Good for you! Keep your wits about you at the convention because the other guys are up to no good.

...the name of the thread is "Why not Ron Paul, exactly?" ...

I think we found the answer: because corrupt compromised life-long establishment children refuse a MORAL change in leadership ...

We're trying to do America a favor, by fighting the system for you, so your vote will count once again!  The perpetual games being played against Ron Paul supporters is merely evidence of how corrupt our system has become, and how little the career politicians care about "the little guy".

It's amazing that Americans not only tolerate this, evidence by their constant ridicule of Ron Paul and quickly positioning themselves with "majority opinion" that he cannot win; instead of actually contemplating what America was like(prosperous and wise) when statesmen of good character were seated/represented in the majority of our government offices.

Why not Ron Paul?  Because he's a homophobe who believes in little to no government regulation.

You could ask the same question about tons of other fringe candidates.

Why not Ralph Nader, exactly?
Why not Dennis Kucinich, exactly?
Why not David Duke, exactly?

Just like Ron Paul, they all have their share of passionate followers, but they are all out on the fringe and absolutely unelectable as Presidential candidates.

Blah, blah, blah.  <insert name here> is the only candidate capable of saving our Country!

Anything to back up your claim of Paul being a homophobe?

I see.

So we are all children, and only those who agree with you are adults.

Your supposed moral superiority and self proclaimed superior intellect have overwhelmed us all.

He has specifically come out and said he is against homosexual relationships because he believes it to be biblically amoral.  Anyone who uses a book of myths to justify his dislike for a segment of the population obviously has other issues going on.  Maybr homophobe was too strong of a word.  I should have just said he's against homosexual relationships.
