I find this interesting. Really, when did “what is right” disappear to be replaced by “what is sort of legal?” Clearly, “what is right” suggests that the electorate votes should have meaning and be represented correctly. However, it appears that buying delegates or purposefully distorting the voter’s intent for personal gain is more than acceptable.
When is it that the ideas I was taught as a kid of right and wrong went away? Why is it that politicians, corporations, and just us lowly people do what is “legal” but know full well that it is not “right?” It seems to go beyond possibility. I can understand someone doing something they think that will go unnoticed and is legal but not “right,” but this is bragging that he is doing what is not right, even if it is legal.
