They had there new smoker installed and was cooking this weekend.

Have they opened? I don't get down that way very often. I know their facebook page kept saying "open in 2 weeks" for many weeks.

We go by there almost every day and it looks like they're still working on the interior...

and the portable sign outside still says "Coming Soon" :-\ :-\ :-\

Well the signs outside haven't changed...

But when we drove by tonight they had all the paper down that has been covering the windows...

The lights were on and it was nice and bright in there.

I would say it looks like they're making progress :P :P :P

The health department were doing there final walk threw today. I think that's why they are a little behind schedule. They have to come out numerous times and have a lengthy list of rules and regulations. If everything goes good they are opening next week. If you find them on facebook they already put a menu up I saw.

Hey, if there's room enough in Monroe for 75 different pizza joints, there's gotta be room for 3 BBQ places! lol Besides, BBQ sauces and styles can be very different. I can't stand sauce that's too sweet or too tangy. I like mine in the middle and very spicy!

The temporary sign now says they open Thursday, May 10.

Still no permanent signage on the building or on the old sign post from Dominic's.

I've seen cars in the parking lot most every time we go by there...

I'm waiting for that big new sign to show up before I try 'em though ;D ;D ;D

We went there a few weeks ago and it was very good. We had the pulled pork, brisket, baked beans (which had pulled pork in them, yummy), fried green tomatoes, fried okra, southern green beans and chess pie. Everything tasted homemade and was very good. Definitely want to go back and try more. He also makes 4 different kinds of BBQ sauce. Good stuff!!

A friend tipped me off about this place.  I go by here all the time and swear I've not seen that sign.. Anyhow, it looks like it should be opening soon here's their Facebook page:  http://www.facebook.com/jefftuttlebbqsmokehouse

I'm starting to think the only place this sign exists is as an artist's concept...

they do have the old signs pulled out of the frame though ;) ;) ;)
