"You gotta know when to hold'em. Know when to fold 'em." The Gambler is back in Lakeland but this time as a pitching advisor and all other players report today. In other Tiger news Andy Dirks was signed to a one year deal. As well as a young lefty (Adam Wilk) that some feel will keep the Tigers at the top of the Central for years to come.

I know it's only Grapefruit league but the Tigers hit nine dingers out yesterday.

Does A&W honor spring games? We would have been able to take advantage of the "Raburn Rule"

Good question. I wonder if they'll be using that as a promotion this season?

Anybody see Cabrera stop the ball with his face yesterday? Looks like he may start opening day from the DH spot.

Or maybe not. He returned to the club last week and is good to go. Opening day on Thursday, anyone going?

Didn't make it - but the game was a good one.   Too bad Verlander didn't get the victory.

Made it to both games so far, 2 very good games to attend! Opening day was fun, I didn't get there early enough to feel as good as everyone else, alcohol sales skyrocketed, but still had fun. Felt bad for Verlander because he deserved that win. Game 2 today was just as much fun if not more. Shut out the Sox and hit 5 homers. We were in Sec 211 and surrounded by RedSox fans who were having some fun and trash talking before the game. By the 3rd they were quieter and after the back to back hrs they were looking for the exits. There were less open seats for game 2 than for the opener.

Wow, what a win. Red Sox gave us all they had, with our bats it wasn't enough.

Yup I am officially on board (OK I was already all-in to begin with).  I am ready for the first sanctioned MT Tigers night... LOL!!!

This lineup is unreal... Boesch, Cabrera, Fielder, Young, Avila... OMG can you imagine where this goes when Martinez returns????

Scherzer has a poor outing today, but that will NOT be the norm.  I am stoked about this team.

They said on 97.1 the Ticket that tickets were going for $0.25 on StubHub for today's game.  A little too cold and windy for me though.

What a DD sighting? I'm with you way to cold for baseball, unless it's the world series of course.
