Two eaglets! One more egg to hatch. I guess nobody was hungry for fish last night!

They're just so big, it's amazing they can fly, so when I see one I am just dazed and thrilled.

So awesome to be able to watch this live! Looked in about an hour ago and also saw a bear strolling by at the top right corner of screen!

Mama feeding her two hatched little eaglets every so gently.  They squeek and she feeds them with such care and precise aim with that huge beak of hers.  I love how she turns her head almost upside down to feed the babies so carefully.  This is SO awesome.

The 3rd egg has yet to hatch?

Wow!  You can't see it, but a bird is nearby (very nearby) and chirped rather loudly and Mama dropped right on top of her babies to protect them.


Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!  I can't imagine what kind of idiot bird would dare to come close to Mama Eagle in her nest and startle her that way.   I hope Papa isn't nearby.  There may be more "food" delivered to the nest very soon.

If you go to YouTube and watch some of the videos from earlier years they show Mama twice being attacked by an Owl during the night. Once she chased off a racoon climbing up to the nest. Lots of videos on YouTube.

The mother eagle is sitting up sleeping and you can see the three babies all cuddle up together and the wind blowing their feathers tonight.

Poor little eaglets, it's so windy today! They're doing great though, nobody got blown out of the nest.

OMG! You're not kidding!  Mom and Dad are both on the nest hanging on over the babies.   

I checked the weather map and they don't seem to be in the tornado path, though you wouldn't know it to listen to the wind.   That tree/nest sure is swaying!

Looks like a half eaten Nortern Pike down in the bottom left corner with flies all over it. Yum

Lunch today looks like it was good! Just a little bit of pidgeon feathers floating around the nest.

I laughed so hard the first time I saw a baby (eaglet) potty---they squirt right over the side of the nest!   They are eating every much these days .

I wondered how they keep the nest "fresh" with all those eaglets, they seem too little to move around much, but I bet Mom trains them fast!
