Anyone supporting socialized medicine is a socialist/communist imho.  For every good story about socialized health care, there are two bad ones.  Not to mention the lack of innovation and the shortage of medical personell that is on it's way.

This country was not founded on those principles. Period.

Health care is not available to all or cheap...I lost a house to forecloser do to medical bills of my deceased mother, don't talk to me about there was cheap health care!

I never said health care was cheap, just less expensive prior to the passing of obamacare.  Sorry about your mother and the loss of your house.  If obamacare would have been in place sooner, you'd still have your house, but your mother's care would've been worse and ended sooner. Mandatory insurance for all.  That's how I'm locked in a yoke.  And if you don't think a single payer system is on it's way, think again. 

The slippery slope is alive and well.  Legalized gay marriage will lead to.....marriage to animals, kids, objects, etc.  Abortions are now leading to the murder of newborns (to think it's even a topic for discussion is sickening). And soon, healthcare will have death panels.

And it's got nothing to do with not going my way.  This crap is unconstitutional, we can't afford it, and soon there won't be enough of other people's money.  But who cares?  Deficits don't matter. Spend more. Force me to buy a Volt.  Tell me what I can and can't eat.  Frisk me everywhere I go. But heaven forbid I should have to prove I'm eligible to vote.  Freedom is so 50's.  Utopia is one election away.  Teh one can make it happen.  Just look at all jobs, the economy.  Equal misery for all.  It's only fair.  And that's what counts, right?

I was always told - Life ain't fair and appreciate what you have.  I was not told to go take from others, that I should have and demand what others have.

You really believe the crap numbers that are out there?  Look at the unemployment rate for the 17-24 yr olds. That's a tad more realistic, as they haven't dropped out of the workforce.  Strange that the BLS doesn't count those who can't find a job and have since dropped out of the workforce.

It all breaks down to the old world fear of what's not known...They fear what gay marrage means, so they have to invoke other extraordinary examples to fight the concept...In their mind if a government will accept gay marrage then what's stopping them from accepting bestiality or pedophilia, it's a sick comparison and meant to be...To me it shows a deep detachment to rational thinking, but you get what you pay for.
