brd,
Dingell should stay out of it.  And for some reason, the FCC wants equal air time for the right and left (a form of censor if you will).

But when Sarah or any other conservative female is called names...crickets.  And thanks MM1 for pointing out Maher.

Mo,
Name calling is so third grade.  Remember SNL..Jane you ignorant s**t.  No outrage there.  Defacating on police cars is hardly a comparison.  Yeah, I'd be upset if my wife/daughter were called that, but Fluke is an activist with an agenda.  She put herself out there.

Just not understanding why everyone is getting their pink panties all twisted over this.  What else should Rush have called someone who wants to be paid for sex?  Maybe I'm a prude, but how many women spend that kind of money on contraceptives?  Fuzz, you out there?

I don't think you're a prude however I do think you're out of touch with reality on the issue.  Here's an article that gives some information.  I guess you'll have to decide if it's factual or biased information.  http://www.charter.net/news/read.php?rip_id=%3CD9TCRVP03%40news.ap.org%3E&ps=1018

Again, had you actually watched the video of her congressional testimony you would have been aware that she was not necessarily in need of the medication for birth control purposes but for the other many benefits it provides.

But what you do sound like is a typical "parrot"...

you heard it from Rush so you come on here repeating it and you have very OBVIOUSLY not researched the information available...

of course neither did Rush...    obviously 8* 8* 8*

Yes, I do remember that SNL skit. Classic comedy. And it was just that--comedy. Not a personal and public attack on a woman testifying to congress.

I almost choked reading the bolded question. Really? You think she wants to get paid for sex (just like a prostitute) because she wants women who are employed by religious organizations to have access to birth control? You AGREE with Rush that she should be publicly called those hate filled words?

Oh, BTW, Maher is *defending* Limbaugh.

Maher is a joke.

And anyone who believes he is *defending* Limbaugh is a sheep.

Like I said before, this is nothing more than purely political posturing that makes for good "politically correct" media entertainment.

So you are in agreement with Rush then?

Really?  That's what you read me to say?

THAT'S the problem, RIGHT there.

No.  I can think for myself.  I do not "follow" anyone.  I do NOT agree with Rush.

But I DO find it funny when people can't/won't/refuse to admit EITHER the Limbaugh thing is not as big as the media has blown it, or hold Maher to the same standard.

They were both wrong, no matter how many excuses you toss out for one or the other.

Wow.  A Republican who does NOT agree with Rush.  A free thinking individual?   Wow.  Go figure!

A political system controlled by an ignorant electorate that is manipulated by a dishonest and controlled media that dispenses propaganda on behalf of a corrupt political establishment can hardly be the path to lasting prosperity.

I don't get why so many have their pink panties in a snit.

On the one side I understand how his defenders feel.  He has said a lot of inflaming things over the years and has gotten a pass each time.  Why is this one any different?

What matters though is that Limberger is losing his advertisers.  One I read earlier said he lost ALL of his paid advertisers and even free PSA's are asking to not be aired on his show.

That is not the media, but the free market working as I always hear that it should.

Old Salt.

Here is the basis of the problem.  The right feels that human life begins at conception and feel that their thinking has to be the only thinking.  They cannot allow any option other than nothing.  The left feels that it is a person's choice, and if they feel it is wrong, then they are allowed not to.  The rights choice doesn't change at.

If one must go the route of contraception is preventing human life, then other things must be criminalized such as vasectomies, and masturbation.  See, each one of them little seeds is a life that are being killed.

Maybe those pink panties are disgusted about your skid-marked tighty-whities.

You reiterated what your limp noodle Rush moron idol said which basically calls all women prostitutes.

The Republican war on women backfired and yet the message somehow didn't trickle-down to you dittoheads yet.

The GOP's War on Women

Amid a flurry of recent news on women's issues, Democrats are working to capitalize on debates over a birth-control mandate and a proposed Virginia ultrasound requirement for abortions. Judy Woodruff discusses parties' attempts to woo women voters with The Washington Post's Ruth Marcus and Republican strategist Cheri Jacobus.

Do Republicans want to take the country back — or do they want to take it back in time? Jennifer Granholm takes on the latest battle in the 'War on Woman' with a look at life in America decades ago, in a black and white era where women's rights were few and far between.
