From one personally affected by the suicide of family members and friends :'(, I'm offended.   I can only assume you, Big Mike, have no consideration for the feelings of others when you post something like this.   Unless you personally know this man, you don't know why he did this.

You should be ashamed of your insensitivity (but most likely, are not)>:(

Skit, I've also been affected by suicide and had the same reaction you did.

But whether it's this subject or others, I've believe that people who post such ignorant, hurtful  statements are usually attacking things they actually hate about themselves.  JMO

I will agree that suicide is the ultimate selfish act resulting from a depth of pain and despair that  none of us can know; but also that the person who made the decision to do such a thing is NOT the person we knew or loved.

It's game over. . . . so why not just offer some kindness.

It's sad and such a waste when someone takes their own life... :(

Suicide is nothing but sheer pain, from the person taking their life to the people who love them left behind.

My heart breaks for this poor mother.  She is living a pain she may never recover from and asks that people send love and kindness for her son.  I can't even allow myself to imagine what she's going though.  And I defy anyone to watch this and not feel their heart crack or fight a tear.

Maybe some cold hearts should watch and hear her appeal to people to have good thoughts for Junior.

Who knows.  Maybe . . . . . .

Sorry, NONE of those would stand up in a court of law. All are supposition.

Also sorry. There is no valid reason for suicide outside of being a selfish coward.

Committing suicide takes more balls than most people have. I doubt a coward could pull the trigger so easily or willingly.

Maybe little mikey was affected by a suicide long ago and he still holds some resentment towards the individual, hence saying things like selfish and coward.

From Mm1:  "Skit, I've also been affected by suicide and had the same reaction you did."

I'm sorry to hear you have also been affected by this painful memory.  Soft hug comes your way.

Agreed. Even FF doesn't bother me like BM does. At least FF contributes, even if it is "copy pasta" as some people put it.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!!!!

Truthfully though, BM (so appropriate btw), is a troll and gets his jollies off by ticking off others.

The whole forum would be better off if EVERYONE put him on ignore. Unless you like to be upset for no good reason.

I just did.

Truthfully a troll?   Does he have no honest connection to our area?
Thanks for the tip.

I lived in Monroe for over 14 years.

Sorry people, it takes no balls to commit suicide. It's a cowards way out. Only a true **** would do it. Hoping Seau burns in hell as he desrves no sympathy or empathy.

Some how I doubt he will burn in hell for committing suicide but why don't you try it and let us know whether he made it there.

I said he should....

So was Kurt Cobain right in committing suicide?

Your point is clear.

You can save the rest of your "salt for open wounds" for another thread.

Please.   :(

I refuse to let an individual be canonized for suicide simply because he was a Hall Of Fame NFL player. Quite simply I bet the cause will be he was depressed from missing the limelight so he took the cowards way out.

His courage on the field cannot gloss over the fact that in the end he was a coward.
