We heard the State Police requesting Ash Township FD to bring "all the floodlights you can" last night as it was getting dark.  Didn't know then what was going on but did see an article on WDIV in the night when I checked my tablet! 

Something doesn't make sense...  why bring a body from Flint clear down here to dump it...  there are a lot of remote areas to dump up around Flint.  Maybe someone knew this area or maybe they were bringing her down 275 when something happened...  It does seem like our area has often been used as a 'dumping ground' in the past though :-\ :-\ :-\

More details...   boyfriend is the one in custody...   why doesn't that surprise me ??? ??? ???

Also tragedy in Toledo where ex boy friend stalked girl and shot her while she was driving.  Guy had been in jail for threatening her before.

Shows the power that a woman's love can have over a man when it is pulled out from under them.  Not rationalizing these stories, but it all goes to explain that mystical "power" women have.

And the charges for those threats had been dropped just a few days before he hunted her down...  not sure how that happened!  Lots of news still developing from that one too!

Just heard this 'unsubstantiated' report direct from the 'rumor mill'...

It may have been a UPS delivery driver that discovered this body yesterday.  Driver had seen 'something' earlier in the day when they drove past but wasn't quite sure what they had seen...   kept bothering them so on their way home drove back that way and verified and called 911...  that would sure put the dampers on a good day at work now wouldn't it :o :o :o

I was able to verify the above 'rumor' about the UPS driver...

First time past he thought maybe it was a mannequin but when he returned he slowed down to look closer and realized what he was looking at... 

I'll bet that was one long wait for LE to get there :( :( :(

Also, just saw this on twitter... her car was seen in Toledo the day after she disappeared in Flint...  it doesn't say when or if the car was found but I'll bet she got dumped as a side trip off 275 on the way to Toledo :( :( :(

I didn't see this until after we'd gone to bed last night (I found in on my tablet, that's why it's in the mobile version)! 

This would only be a few miles from where they found the body of the gal from Flint the day before.

State police are handling the investigation. They have blocked off the area. Police are concerned the area has become a dumping ground for bodies.

Charges filed against her boyfriend...   sure am glad it wasn't someone who didn't like her 8* 8* 8*

Sounds like her kids may have been in the car when he drove it down here and dumped her body...  in an earlier article I read where the car had been spotted in Toledo...  not sure if it was spotted or just those new police car cameras that record every license plate they encounter!
