That was some good stuff BRD!

Did you catch the various construction costs for the times?  Amazing.

I caught the part about Mr. Luft buying the old lighthouse from the government for $10.  One of his descendants taught our two older kids in school and she lived in the house that they reference.  It's one of the red clay triple brick wall homes.  You can still see all the rocks at the base of the home.  It's within sight of where Lighthouse road ends at Lake Erie which appears to be the location of the light.
