Map is attached Monique ;) ;) ;)

I think there are actually a couple of old quarries behind Quality Inn...

It was Frenchtown Twsp. that central dispatch sent to the scene so I don't think the reference to pollywog pond was correct.  The end of Michigan would still be in the city I believe although the line is close and meanders right there.

A is where I perceive pollywog pond to be based on prior discussions here on MT...

No, Polywog Pond was about 50 yards east, in the empty area surrounded by trees just off the farmer's field.

B is the Quality Inn...   not even close!!!

And this post was constructive how? jbs, you're a smart dude. Stay on topic and avoid these petty personal attacks, please. Thanks.

Sorry, caught the itch this morning and was feeling a tad snarkish.

I guess I am just more struck by the fact that he takes every opportunity to bash the very organization that gives him the platform to do his "work".  Funny also how no one snaps his fingers with a ruler when he jumps "out of line", so yeah that gets old too.

I am guessing he doesn't have a journalism degree, and it is QUITE possible that this does not fall within the realm of "news" outside of requiring an obituary.  Heaven forbid we wait for factual information.  The MEN should not feel compelled to print speculation... that is what they have MT, Fry, and Facebook linked to their website for.

It happens. I had to bite my tongue a couple times today myself.

As far as 'snapping his fingers with a ruler,' I believe I'm on record stating that I might as well be whistling down the wind.

I'm pretty sure that's it.
It has been 40 years since I've been out there.
Plus, I never saw it from above.

Thanks BRD. Maybe we can meet up for a walk out there.

Things do look different from the air...   I spent quite a bit of time in an OH13 helicopter in the Army so I kind of got accustomed to the "the view from above"...

probably the most interesting was to fly over the castles in Europe and see the gals sunbathing on the roof...   and some of them weren't wearing much more than a smile...   but they always waved at us ;) ;) ;)

Anyway, when you're in Monroe I'd enjoy that.  I've had a couple of other offers too, but I'm sure I can pick more than one brain and probably learn something from everyone ;) ;) ;)

Yes, that is it. Image must be from the end of summer or early fall because it is dry. Typically there is water in it.

So as usual you have nothing constructive to add.

30+ posts over the last few hours.... nothing is anything any of us have not alraedy heard, read, or talked about............. Good job!

I guess if your goal is to be the top post king, and copy/paste guru..... maybe you could be just a smidge more current?  I mean damn... I live out of county and this crap reached me via cell phone and facebook about 100% faster than you presented it for consideration (that pretty much covers ALL your posts BTW).
My complaint was that the Monroe Evening "News" didn't utter a word about the incident....and not only did you reply with an inane "we've heard it all" comment but then ironically disparaged my comment as having "nothing constructive to add"
Well look in the mirror fool.

I guess I am just more struck by the fact that he takes every opportunity to bash the very organization that gives him the platform to do his "work".  Funny also how no one snaps his fingers with a ruler when he jumps "out of line", so yeah that gets old too.
I see you're still trying to recruit volunteers to your attack the 'Fry campaign.  8*

One doesn't have to be a Proctologist to see you've been an ahole.

Heaven forbid we wait for factual information.
We?...you must have a mouse in your pocket because you don't speak for everyone.

The MEN should not feel compelled to print speculation... that is what they have MT, Fry, and Facebook linked to their website for.
Finding a body is news that anybody would like to know about....and yet the Monroe Evening "News" STILL hasn't reported SQUAT about it.

Not sure why you find it so difficult to mind your own business but I hope in the interest of civility, you learn to control your urge to bully.

Me mind MY own business?  Oh that is rich even for you.

Someone with more credibility than you has determined that it is not "news".... no matter how badly you want it to be.  You just MUST know all about this deceased person.... EVEN THOUGH IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

You are promoting civility now eh.....?  Your act of innocent victim is about as old as your copy/paste routine... probably older.

I respect the families right to privacy. However, when a body is found on city property in the middle of the woods no less I think the issue should be addressed. At the very least let the citizens know there was no foul play involved or a threat to the community.

I agree Billy...   something like this does not go 'unnoticed' by those in the immediate area.  And there was a helicopter flying around the area at the same time (not necessarily related, but it was there).

I'm more interested in what didn't happen than what did happen :( :( :(

I agree, Billy. With all that happens here now, I'd like to know what it *wasn't* at the very least. Seems I recall reading that the MEN as a rule does not report suicides, and I can respect that, but as you said, when a body is found in the woods, something should be reported to calm local residents' fears.

Condolences to the family.

Well now.
It appears people DO want to know.
Your assumption that everybody is like you in preferring to keep your head buried deep, was wrong.

Just a reminder....look back and you'll find that YOU initiated the attack upon ME and I'm merely responding.

I think about all the times you've launched unwarranted attacks upon me for copy/pasta....
Perhaps you'd be better off utilizing copy/pasta yourself...then the chances you'd actually contribute something of value would increase tremendously...instead of being a mindless dolt carrying the water for others...but I guess you must do what you're told. ;)

Hey, send me your pic....I need an example for WIKI about the hazards of inbreeding.  ;D
