Well now.
It appears people DO want to know.
Your assumption that everybody is like you in preferring to keep your head buried deep, was wrong.

Just a reminder....look back and you'll find that YOU initiated the attack upon ME and I'm merely responding.

I think about all the times you've launched unwarranted attacks upon me for copy/pasta....
Perhaps you'd be better off utilizing copy/pasta yourself...then the chances you'd actually contribute something of value would increase tremendously...instead of being a mindless dolt carrying the water for others...but I guess you must do what you're told. ;)

Hey, send me your pic....I need an example for WIKI about the hazards of inbreeding.  ;D

See my PM.

I never attacked you.  I pointed out some truths though.  I said your post had nothing to add (which it didn't) and that you probably don't have a journalism degree (do you?).  I said your posts are usually not very current (which they aren't) and that I get information faster through everyday mediums sooner (which I can and do).  I have determined your work is little more than copy/paste (which it is) and that you do it regularly and in abundance (which you do).  You in response called me an "ahole" and inferred that I was inbred.  Congratulations, you won this round of "I took the high road" (or not).

The MEN is not obligated to print matters contrary to their company policy to placate the speculations of others.  The lack of a story should speak for itself.  That is my opinion and I am entitled to it.  If you have disdain for the MEN and the way it goes about its business then why in the world do you post on their site and support them?

Good lord. You guys sound like a couple of old hens cluckin' and fussin'. Not sure why either of you seem to think that other members here want to read your personal snit, but I see that asking either of you to behave in a civil manner is pointless. Have at it, boys. Make yourselves look like total jackasses. You're doing a swell job so far!

Maybe a suicide is suspected and an autopsy is still pending to rule out foul play.

Maybe no further reporting is being done because there is nothing more to report beyond a family's loss.

DEFINITELY if there was a danger to the public that involving a murder, there would be cautions put out by the LE.  I think there is a reasonable conclusion in this situation.   Maybe not all the details, but a very reasonable conclusion.

There's a "need to know" and "want to know".  Some things are just not the public's "right to know".

IMO, it appears to me this looked like one thing at first that turned into quite another.

It's over IMO.   And all this bickering is ridiculous.  People need to grow up.  :(

Sincere condolences to the family.

Sounds like the makings of some great discussion in a new thread!

In some cases the public is not being done a favor by withholding information. This is exactly what happens when an issue is not addressed people can do nothing but speculate.

Guess I was hoping to see one of you take the high road. I'm optimistic that way.

The MEN has a long standing policy of not reporting suicides.  That they have chosen to NOT write says it all.

Well maybe not the high road I have opted for the exit ramp.

Or drug overdoses.

Honestly, if someone had a burning desire to know who it was, it's not that hard to piece it together from the obituaries.

I suppose it's not really necessary for the MEN (or any other media outlet) to publicize any personal level of detail beyond that.

Nobody asked for personal details.

Generalizations about what happened would've sufficed.

The Monroe Evening News is the only local news source that I'm aware of and since they STILL didn't report anything at all on it....speculation is all that remains.

And yet another example of your cyber-bullying.

Intimidation, humiliation, embarrassment, harassing, stalking and tormenting are all things you do.

Your multiple unprovoked attacks in the political video thread and the other topics proves that point.

You have a bully pattern of harming people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner.

I'm probably your favorite whipping post since my political views differ from yours and when I reciprocate, it's often mild in comparison.

I happen to believe that you and your ilk may be responsible for the decreased patronage on the forum over the years.

But in my case, you've failed. I'm still here.

Denial and a feeble attempt to rationalize your behavior may be next....and/or more of the same JBS cyber-bullying we've all come to expect for you.
