You poor thing.  Do you just pace around your basement waiting to jump on what ever I post and try to fight?

You will not find where I called the poster a liar.   It never happened.

I said I did not believe HS told the couple they would call the police.

It could have been the elderly couple misunderstood, mis-interpreted, exhaggerated or even possibly lied or the whole thing could be a fabrication.  Who knows.  I don't . . . and you don't.  But above all, I don't care.  Bottom line for me . . . . . I don't believe it.   I didn't then and I don't now.

You certainly are putting a lot of focus, concentration and interpretion of the "true meanings" in whatever I post.  (which is getting old, by the way)   And, besides being persistent, you're always wrong.   8*   ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

But, to clearly enlighten you, I did not call the poster a liar.  I in fact told the poster I appreciated her position in choosing not to donate to the organization any longer.  I hold no ill-will.

You on the other hand .  .  . seem to be overflowing with the stuff!  8*
Again, I'm not fighting, and claiming that I am doesn't make it so. I'm trying to point out that, while you may not think you are attacking others, it can be, and has been, taken that way so many times, by so many others.

Even though I pointed out how the police could be called on them, and that it is, in fact, illegal to drop off pets, you still refuse to acknowledge it could have happened that way.

Ah well, so much for me trying to enlighten you. I gave it a shot.

People People People.   ;D ;D ;D

You don't seem to see that your problems are with yourselves.

You need to try, as difficult as it may be, to stop looking for implications and interpretations to stir your pots with.

But it seems to be what makes you happy.  So who am I to interfere with your entertainment.

Have at it!   :)

Your interpretations of my posts are just as wrong as you state mine to be about yours.

Have fun!

Actually I don't think she intends to be cruel, it just comes out that way without her realizing it.

Somewhat true, but at least the participants in this topic aren't using the bullying tactic that "some" use in other threads.  8*

I know it's difficult for some to imagine partisan politics playing a role in a topic about the Humane Society but MM1 is the typical rightie....constantly disparaging people and then claiming innocence. Perhaps that IS a form of bullying....the intent appears to make it unpleasant for anyone to post anything contrary to their view.
Silencing the opposition may be their game.

Shag...is there a local link to the local Planned Pethood?

I think I am ready to take that leap back into dog ownership.....I've looked through the local humane society links (as someone else said, sure not a good internet presence detailing what pets are available), and adopt a pet sites too (they don't seem to update their existing sites much either, and no dates so one is not certain if the dog is still available or not).

I think I want a crabby dog that will pester cats to the point of them saying the hell with it and leave the life of charm these damned things have had over the last several years.  LOL....actually, I still miss my old boy Barlow, would love to find another mix Shepard/Lab mix that had the personality of that he had for 15 great years.  He only failed me in not running these GD cats off.

Here's a project the PP in Toledo was doing this weekend:

(Unless of course it leads to the loss of another pet's life . . . .  FUZZ!    >:( )

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just for clarification.... ;D, loss of life, well......I like to think as it in terms of "Loss of living under my roof and leaving piles of squishy stuff that my bare feet are attracted to like magnets when it is dark".....GD cats!
