For more than three decades, Barry King has waited for detectives to catch the Oakland County Child Killer.

But the 81-year-old Birmingham lawyer says he has run out of time and patience with Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper and the Michigan State Police because they won't tell him what they know about who killed his 11-year-old son, Timothy, in 1977.

"Jessica Cooper won't even return my phone calls," said King, who has sued Cooper and the State Police three times to get information. "If Jessica Cooper comes in with an indictment, I will apologize for everything I have said about her."

The State Police turned over 3,411 pages of documents about one suspect, Christopher Busch, a now-dead serial pedophile. But King had to pay $11,000 to get the paperwork.
