Leave it to Frenchfry to post a copy and paste in "Remembering those fun things you did as a kid...

Maybe he could tell us a real story like how he used to tear pictures out of magazines and tape them onto construction paper when the kindergarten teacher asked them to draw a picture. ;D
Ha Ha Ha.
What about your childhood?
Do you remember ever doing anything fun?

This is what I see when I visit:

"Sorry Frenchfry, you are banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum.
This ban is not set to expire."

No emails, no warnings, no communication whatsoever...just that ban

May be what happened to the other libs as well.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

Enjoy your spoon-fed Faux News type right-wing echo-chamber.

Edited to add:

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.

For sure.

Playing "kick the can." in the neighborhood.

Riding our bikes to Clark's Market on Riverview

Watching other kids (my parents wouldn't let me, thankfully) follow the fog from the mosquito spraying trucks through the neighborhood.

Used to go to St. Mary's Park and take a roll of wax paper. Used to tear off a sheet, sit down on it and and "fly" down the metal slide. It seemed like it was a lot faster on those hot sunny days.

Using our plastic wading/swimming pools go down hills in the winter. Fun by yourself but gets interesting with two or more people.

My mom wouldn't let us go to the park by ourselves.  She always brought a good book along with her and sit and read while we played.  I was always mad at her that she would always say, "Eriemermaid, let those other kids go down the slide first.  You  don't always have to be first at everything."
Years later she let me know how dirty that slide was.  She ALWAYS said that to my sister and I so our clothes wouldn't clean off the slide for everyone else.   :o  My mom, she sure was a smart one.  ;)

This rain brought back memories

When we were kids on the farm there would be really hot days and later huge thunder storms would roll through and dump tons of rain leaving huge ponds of water all over. We would put on our bathing suits and run and slide into the ponds of water to cool off. Then we found that the corn fields were all soft and mushy mud so we would run through the mud bare foot until were covered in mud. Then we would go back to the ponds and clean off the mud. A great way to cool off when your a kid.

We would open the garage door and line up a row of chairs and watch those thunder storms coming across the fields. When a lightening would strike real close we would all scatter for shelter.

Used to and still do shoot slingshots. I guess that's at least one thing I haven't out grown.

Over the last couple of years I have gotten into playing board games with my kids.  During the last year or so it has become "vintage" games (50's - 80's).  Our current favorites:

Booby-Trap (1955)
Mr. Mouth (1983)
Scribbage (1961)
Monkey Mania (1986) and . . .

We just found the game . . "I wanna be President" from 1983 (unopened)!

All of less then 10.00's! !

Ouija Boards

Twister

Hands Down

Mystery Date

(which led to. . . )

Aggravation   :)

Jump Rope

Dodge Ball

Drawing pictures with chalk on the gigantic blackboard Nancy had on a basement wall. (for hours)

Playing "VARIETY SHOW" in Cathy's yard and each would perform a song as the others sat in the "audience" (for hours)

Playing dressup with all the gorgeous old prom dresses and old spike high heels Karen had in a huge trunk, complete with hats, gloves, costume jewelry.  She also had the coolest playhouse in the back yard to play in.  (for hours)

Geez!  I can see all my childhood (6 - 10yrs old) friends clear as a bell,  Karen, Cathy and Nancy.  We all lived on the same block and were together 24-7.

Sweet memories.  :)
