I merely mentioned what was in the video.
That's solid proof...and very defensible.
I meant in general, not the sherriff's race. You attempt to sully peoples reputation without strong proof, and then you come in here and state that people should not without solid proof.

Quit making false accusations. If you're talking about you personally....you're the one constantly making a fool of yourself.
Oh and here's a clue....that squiggly red line means a misspelling...it's not like you're new here.  ;)
You make baseless claims against every Republican candidate out there, and you hardly ever have solid proof. The only thing you do is parrot what Cenk tells you to.

How am I making a fool of myself constantly? Is it because I prove you wrong so much, and you do not like being wrong?

Oh and here is a clue an ellipsis is only three periods, not four. We can go all day correcting grammar.

Here is another clue felonies are bad, and you are currently leading me in the felony scoreboard.

So what you're saying is....around some members of the MCSD, your underwear feels tight?   :o
I assume the same gender but that's really none of my business.  :P
Seriously....what type of reservations do you have?
Looks like you forgot a comma up there.

Again, an ellipsis is only three periods.

I'm sure everyone can see why I consider you a moron. Pay attention to the topic. Does it say "attack Fry"?
You consider me a moron because I prove you wrong, and you can't stand being wrong. You just start attacking people, like me, when they prove you wrong on a subject, and Cenk does not tell you what to say about it.

Oh, so it is OK for you to criticize the grammar of others, but when someone does it to you it is "attack Fry".

Why is it OK for you to make claims against people without strong proof, but you advise others to refrain from making claims unless they have strong proof?

Look at your first sentence. Does that really look right to you?
BTW...you started the attack first....I merely followed with my boot up your ignorant behind.
I merely pointed out the irony coming from you, I would not consider that attacking.

So, why is it OK for you to nitpick the grammar of others, but you get extremely butthurt when people do it to you?

Looks right to me because I prove you wrong so much, and you hate being wrong. You resort to petty attacks when you are wrong on an issue.

If you want, we can continue to play the nitpicking grammar game. I am sure it will be fun, and all the other posters will love it.

I've taken a gander at some of your candidates' literature and nary a one says a damn thing about protecting the county's citizens' rights against unlawful encroachment/usurpation by the state, the federales, or any supranational (sic) organization.  "Drugs" might be a bit of a problem for some of the local trailer trash but when your FedNotes collapse you're screwed without a lawful Sheriff in charge. Happy voting!!

Someone fixed it for the grammar Sheriff, (had to stay on topic)  ;)
and then had to explain the irony... (only 3)   ;D

"I'm old school it's all about loyalty...

"Ever since he became involved in law enforcement, Tom Redmond has wanted to be sheriff of Monroe County.

But he said loyalty to his supervisor prevented him from pursuing the position. Now that he's retired from the sheriff's office after 37 years, he thinks now is his time."

Shouldn't loyalty be to the people you are serving?

I see the Malone signs scattered around the 'hood....but it appears my house was skipped.

Folks...my criticisms have been against bad cops...I support the good ones.

I cannot say whether any of the candidates are good or bad...I don't know any of 'em.

But unless you're deaf, dumb, and blind....that video interview clearly shows Malone possesses the leadership skills and knowledge necessary for the position.

As for Redmond...those qualities just weren't apparent.

Nor for Harrington either.

IMO...Harrington is a Republican in disguise.
His whole campaign seems to be built on drugs.
Okay maybe that didn't sound quite right.
But it appears that he's stuck in the past.
Someone ought to try telling him the war on drugs was a failure.
Please don't vote for a DINO.
For the pinheads out there, it means Democrat In Name Only...not a dinosaur...but I guess either meaning seems acceptable in this case.

On a lighter note:
Quote
In 1596, the first flushing toilet was invented by Sir John Harrington. He made one for himself and one for his godmother Queen Elizabeth. These were the only two ever produced. After Sir John published a book describing his invention, he was mocked into retirement for his foolish creation. It took almost 200 years before anyone else attempted to create a flushing toilet.

Got a Harrington flyer - seems like he wants to create a Super OMNI program?

Wasn't that a fiasco last time it was tried?

Of course like many politicians promise them the sky - and don't worry you likely will have the ole excuse of "no money in the budget" ....

(Didn't see any of the issues that seemed to rouse up a poster in another thread)

I've seen reports that the concept can work if properly supervised.  Just because it failed once doesn't mean it can't succeed.  I think the concept is good!

I agree BigRedDog. Great concept for sure.
Was the last OMNI even overseen by anyone?  If so it seems they did a pretty pathetic job and maybe they should be held accountable too? I am sorry but some of the same people that have turned a blind eye while all of that was going on for years are wanting the peoples vote now? Maybe that is what loyalty is though huh?  Amazing on the streets you don't snitch but in the system your loyal.  Seems it means kind of the same thing to me. Hopefully they will have some type of checks and balances in place so it doesn't repeat itself.  Also it seems to me I have heard of MANTIS for longer than the past 3 months?
What about Nevaeh Buchanan and the other missing cold cases of Monroe County?  No one mentioned a game plan for that while they were speaking on the video, perhaps I missed it and it was printed in the article though.

A good undercover operation like "MANTIS/OMNI jr" should only make news when they arrest or stop a major source.
From the excerpts of the data and trial - it appears they wasted some of their time on penny ante stuff, just to get things in the forfeiture system...
(gotta keep the helicopter in fuel...   :D)

The current Sheriff will probably reveal the Neveah information after he retires, as we are still awaiting his announcement that was forthcoming a while back...
