QE3
« on: September 13, 2012, 05:48:44 PM »

I thought we "turned the corner"?!?!  That's what we were told at the DNC.  I thought we were so much better, on the road to recovery.  Someone must have forgot to tell the Fed.

Welcome to stagflation my friends!  I hope some of you are active in the FX market, I've sure had a great few days!

Now, now, you guys.  Don't be so hard on the fed, and Obama for putting a little grease on those printing presses, so they can print more cash.

It's ONLY $40,000,000,000.00 each and every month.  Do the math, you blind, ignorant Obama followers.

That's $15,432.00 ADDITIONAL MONEY EACH AND EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY!!!

Hell, that means they can pay off my mortgage in the time it took me to type this one sentence!!!! WTF!!!!

When will it end? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Where is this money coming from?  Was it in the budget?  Oh, wait... that's right.  The guy we have in the white house doesn't HAVE a budget.  He hasn't had one since he was elected!  He's above that, I guess...  But that's okay.  He's a Democrat.  If he was a Republican, people on here would be calling for his head on a stick (myself included!).

This unending, unlimited spending makes me sick.  With interest rates at historic lows, throwing more money into the mix will NOT fix the economy.  Stock prices rose initially, but some economists said they thought the benefit to the economy would be modest, at best.  DEFINITELY not worth the cost.  He's buying an election, with OUR money.

One night I finally got the courage to ask my mother why God had changed, why He was so angry with His children. “I don’t know,” she said as she tucked the covers around me. “I guess He just got tired of all the bullshlt.”

If Obama is elected for a second term, just think of the mess he will inherit this time!

I don't see why lowering borrowing costs is a bad thing. I would think this would be good news for potential home owners and small businesses looking to expand.  The fact remains the economy is going in the correct direction.  The stimulus has worked, as has been reported by multiple agencies, and Obama has an outstanding record with foreign policy.  I think us lefties are quiet because there's nothing to talk about.

Austerity and Ayn Rand thought processes don't work.  We've seen that in Europe.  The Fed is doing exactly what it needs to to help the economy continue to grow.

Except at the rate they are infusing cash we should all be loaded by now.  The economy should be so robust a man should be able to make millions selling used vaccum bags full of dog hair because no one should be broke enough not to afford it.

Forsythia I tell you what, or anyone on the left or right that supported this type of spending (Bushies you may reply as well) where is all this money going?  Because it aint landing on Main St.!

It isn't landing on main street because of the changes in the American consumer.  Big box stores have taken over and are putting small businessess out of business.  That's why I do my best to shop locally and at small stores.  I get my milk from Calders(yes I drive to the dairy farm twice a month to buy milk), buy my beef from Danny's, and try to get everything else I can from local buisness owners.

It's mainly going to banks.  But here's the problem.... Just because banks have more money to lend doesn't mean they will!!!!!!

They won't lower their lending guidelines just because the Fed gave them more money, and if they do... well, we all know what happened with housing.

Awfully quiet from the left on this one...

What's the point in saying anything...The right seem to know everything and have their minds set.  They see the cause of the problems to be Obama and wont accept any other explanation, even if the truth and facts have repeatedly pointed to the system that got us into the mess to begin with.

It's mainly going to banks.(You forgot to add Wall street)  But here's the problem.... Just because banks have more money to lend doesn't mean they will!!!!!!

Percipient words...!

It also depends on the ability of the borrower to pay it back...The only people getting loans are the ones that don't need them.

Damn free market... we should ban Wal-Mart!  That would save small business forever, then you can complain about Meijer!  Wait... no you won't... Meijer is union.

Let's face it.  The left would be just fine with every small business going under just as long as Wal-Mart went union.
