My 65 mile commute took 2 hrs this morning with little or no plow activity along the way.

Why oh why didn't I drive the truck today!??!?!?!

I took my wife to work this morning....   I-75 from south of Monroe up to Brownstown exit...   one lane scraped until we got as far as Nadeau road...   then just snow.....   Unless we get a lot of snow yet this afternoon it looks like the storm won't be as bad as predicted...   still bad enough....

I was going to shovel the driveway this morning....but then I came to my senses! lol.

Cold and windy - not my favorite.

I did push a yardstick into the snow, and it looks like we got about 4.75" (according to my highly scientific study - which you'll note is accurate to a hundredth of an inch ).  Does that sound about right?

Here in neck ot the USA - we have about 9 inches I am told....the drifting is the worst part.  We have a drift on side of the house taller than my husband....Thats it....cc is hibernating!

I may go out and make a cc angel in the yard tho........

i just hope this old guy dont have a heart attack doin all this nasty crap. i really think i need to purchase a snowblower...but motors and me have never gotten along!! a lawnmower will drive me to drinking!!

lol.  You could always cut your grass with an electric weed whipper.

Last year I waited for the neighbor to go out and start plowing his driveway, then I sent my wife out to shovel ours at the same time.  After seeing her out there fighting with that snow for a couple minutes he came over and plowed ours too.

It is suppose to have more snow for another 6 hours.

I am going to have a fun day. I work at a pizza place so I can imagine how busy its going to be already. Good thing I manage today and not deliver!!

you know he will! Maybe the cop will be nice and take his snowblower over there, he has before. Walked right past my house and then did jimmie's, I was not impressed. lol
