Here in neck ot the USA - we have about 9 inches I am told....the drifting is the worst part.  We have a drift on side of the house taller than my husband....Thats it....cc is hibernating!

I may go out and make a cc angel in the yard tho........

Hubby said we got at least 12 inches of snow.....its snowing hard again and more wind.....cant really tell he snow blowed already.  I will have to wait on that cc angel - maybe I'll build a snowman tomorrow.  (yeah right - tooooooo cold.  any of you snow lovers wanna come make a snowman for cc's yard?)

I'd stay in all day except for the fact that I let my kid stay the night at a friends house last night and am supposed to pick him up this afternoon.  So it looks like I'll get to go play in the snow this afternoon after all.

It was like Christmas morning here when the kids got up....lol.   I've got snow angels all over the back yard....but will be covered in a few minutes.  Uh oh...here come my snow monsters...I mean angels.

I guess this is Mother Natures way of telling us all to take a day off from everything.   

My daughter says it's not packable snow   :'(    that's too bad.  I remember when I was a kid back in maybe '78 when we had that blizzard.  We built a snowman taller than the little house next door.  That thing was awesome and so much fun.  It took about 6 of us to build it and a ladder to get the top on.  Oh....those were some good times.

I just got back home a few minutes ago.  It's a lot of fun out there right now.    Then again, I love to play in the snow.  The roads aren't too bad yet.  An occassional drift here and there but they aren't so deep that the car gets sucked into the ditch.  Monroe St. north of Stewart is not plowed well but it is better south of Stewart.  I saw a pair of plow trucks on Telegraph north of Meijer on my way home. 

If you have to be out, be careful, be safe and have fun!

My ex just showed up to take my daughter to church.
Nothing against that but you'd think he would have the sense enough to stay home during a winter storm warning.  My daughter didn't want to get out of bed today cuz of the snow and...here comes dad. I just hope they stay safe. His winter driving record is not so good.  He'll probably make her drive to get experience.
