PET HIJINX AND SHARING LAUGHS
« on: February 19, 2013, 08:19:49 PM »

I love watching pets and the mischief they get into and I thought maybe we could corral some, as well as still shots and stories, into a thread for some simple, well-intended, non-offensive laughs that touch our hearts and leave us with smiles.

I was sent this today and I don't know how anyone can avoid smiling while watching it.

This dog cries as she see's her "soldier" come home from Afghanistan.  SO touching.

Well I don't have a video of the big red dog helping me take a bath...

at least none that I'm going to post on here 8* 8* 8*

Lately the funniest thing is one of our cats loves to chase play with one of those little nylon 'scrunchie' pot scrubber.  He would steal it from my wife so she finally donated it to him.  It's bright purple and he looks like he's playing hockey with a purple puck the way he runs and bats it at the same time.  You never know where you're going to find it...

and when I step on it in the middle of the night I think about the Fuzz and how his cats are always leaving him something to step on :o :o :o

I am enjoying this thread so much!   The laughing baby was adorable, but my favorite so far is little Bandit's determination with that treadmill!!

I sort of do that...  but I do our walking trails we have out through the roads.  I get some exercise running the snowblower around on them...  later I can get more exercise walking on them (not today though :o :o :o )...   The last couple of weeks it's been the wild turkeys walking on them but actually most wild critters will take the 'path of least resistance' when walking...  I see deer tracks, coyote tracks and lots of smaller critter tracks on them after it snows again!

Anyway, the dogs all love them when they go out for a 'romp'...   they may not stay long but it encourages them not to get too far off the trail and start chasing other critters!!

Nice aerial video taken with a (most likely illegal) drone 8* 8* 8*

Here's a longer version of the same doggy maze the Professor posted above:

You can see the shadow of the drone in the first few seconds of the video.

Here's a couple of pictures of the turkey tracks in our 'maze' through the woods...
