In Michigan you can propose a subdivision quickly but getting approval is a long and costly journey!

Yes - but a "Condo Association" is much quicker, and less costly.

I'm sure you're thinking 'site condo' and that is correct.

Here's a pretty well written article by the City of Troy although it's hosted on a private blogsite:

# 13 gives a very simple explanation of how the approval process is quicker.

Correct.  Site Condo.

Personally I don't see why the State would allow that loophole - but they do - and they saddle homeowners with it.

I wouldn't buy a property where I didn't hold the title for the property - on my own.

No thanks.

Interesting...

I never heard a thing on the scanner.

I had let the dog out about 5:30 so I must have really gone back to sleep!

A developing scenario in Austin, Tx.

People walk out their front door and there sits a package for them so they drag it inside and it explodes!

Surprise!!!!

At least a couple dead so far.

I guess if you get a package and you're not expecting anything you better not take it inside until you figure out where it came from.

The bomb squad would be very busy if I called them every time an Amazon package lands on my porch that I didn't know about.

I've heard of gift wrapping your garbage and leaving it on a park bench at Christmas but exploding box...  Never heard of that.

Absolute chaos overnight!

A tanker 'fully involved' on 75 at the 3 mm.  That was around 1:30 I guess.  When they called for a wrecker they did say that the tanker still had 3 sections that were loaded with 'motor oil'.

While that was going on a house was burning in Milan and they were pulling firefighters from as far as Ida for help.

I vaguely heard other calls that I wasn't really wide awake enough to comprehend.

Then this morning in Ottawa Lake they found a woman submerged in a car.

I know I missed a couple too.

A short article on the tanker fire:

The fire was in the southbound lane so this photo is looking north.

More on the 223 crash this morning.  They have stated the victim lives in Ida but haven't released her name.

For as much scanner chatter as there was yesterday it sure has been quiet this morning.

I've even checked it a couple of times now to make sure it's actually on.
