Its similar to the homebuilders/owners in California - who choose to build in a place they also know wildfires and mudslides occur -

I'm not sure how big this problem really is.

I've driven probably hundreds of thousands of miles with my license plate at least partially blocked and not only have I never been ticketed I've never even been stopped for it.

Glad to see our full time legislature hard at work and solving the problems of our fine state ;) ;) ;)

The weather warning for the Lake Erie shoreline has been upgraded for all the county lakeshore fire departments.

Luna Pier is having issues at Allen Cove which is at the very north end of the city.

Sounds pretty penny-anty to me.

Just another law cluttering up the books that I can see.

Would be nice to have some meaningful legislation like concerning MCCA or Lane mile funding or Line 5.

Instead I thought I saw a blurb on allowing "BIGGER" vehicles on the great roads we already have!

This young man might have had a better chance if their local 911 center had the precise GPS location tracking that has been available for several years...    but at a 'cost'.

This sounds like the same or similar technology that has been proposed for Monroe County if voters will approve the 'cost'!

I this case the officers would not have had to drive around a large parking lot trying to find a particular vehicle.  The 911 operator could have guided them to the exact location where the vehicle was parked.  Open the door, bust a window and enter the vehicle...   maybe 30 seconds after 'on the scene' they could have had him out of the vehicle.

I see a legislator from the Adrian area has introduced legislation to require that all vehicles have their headlights on during inclement weather (rain, snow and poor visibility conditions) or anytime the windshield wiper are activated.

Thought that was pretty much standard equipment on late model vehicles.  I know my Focus has that.  Turn on the wipers and the headlights and tail lights illuminate.

I find it interesting and stupid that drivers don't have their headlights / tail lights on during bad weather, you cannot see them approaching.

CL is looking at a 2020 Ford Bronco when they debut.  I see they will come standard in 4wd, all aluminum body and 3 engine choices and 2 transmission choices.  Engines will be the Turbo charged Euro Diesel, a 2.0 liter twin turbo Eco Boost and a 3.0 liter turbo V6 and transmission choices will be a 6 speed standard, as the base box with the Ford 10 speed auto as the optional box.

Body will be body on frame.  Base MSRP is 25K.

The hardtop will be removable and it comes with a roll cage

Finally, gas prices are steadily climbing which I find strange in as much as we are now a net exporter of petroleum.  Gas prices should be decreasing, not increasing.  Something is fishy in Denmark. ;D
