Geocaching
« on: July 01, 2014, 07:23:16 PM »

In another thread, I mentioned I got a Garmin etrex gps.
It seem's that this is not only used for hiking.

I went to four locations and didn't find anything that I was supposed to. A container of some sort with thing's in it. In some, it looks like you can take something or leave something of equal or lesser value. Some containers have free gifts like pens or pencils. After finding the container, your supposed to sign the log book that in included, leave the container in the exact same spot and move on.

Here's a site I joined to find out more and what is local.

Like I said, I didn't find anything but I did get one Hell of a work out walking. Phew! :P
Anybody do this around here? I guess there are some kind of groups and clubs around that Geocach.
