Looks like most gun owners in Australia and New Zealand are not willing to give them up either.

Making criminals out of law abiding citizens I guess?

If the nutty Dems think that will play here (voluntary relinquishment of firearms), they are smoking some good dope.  Come to think about it, they are dopes.

I'm convinced if the dems ever get in charge again (unlikely) they will make it a felony to posses a gun.

No doubt.  I don't believe it would play well though.

I see there are at least 6 elected Democrat representatives that think Dana is being an idiot on Line 5.

She IS an idiot.  So is one term Whitless.  Just another Granholm.

Do I need to remind you that we were stuck with Granholm for 2 terms?

Just because people are idiots that doesn't prevent them from being elected and re-elected in this state.

One would hope the voters can see she is an idiot, but then, voter apathy reigns.

I sure as hell won't vote for her.  I may write in 'Mickey Mouse' next time around.  Maybe Amash will run for governor.  He'd be a good (not) one.

Snyder was good for one term and his second term was a bust.  The 'nerd' morphed into a turd.

I see Nessel's whole strategy is based  on Snyder's eleventh hour lame duck session legislation with Enbridge.  She claims it was illegal.  I don't see that but then I'm not Nessel.

I do know that shutting down Line 5 will cause a huge spike in fuel cost for Michigan motorists and an even higher cost for propane for heating fuel.

I say, let Enbridge drill the tunnel.  They could have already began construction if it wasn't for Nessle and her grandstanding and Whitless and her postulating.

The longer it's delayed the closer we come to a rupture.

Michigan partisan politics at it's best.

The old saying 'Fiddling while Rome burns' comes to mind.

I think there are far too many people talking and not nearly enough listening.

I think everyone has a solution that's already been tried at least once or twice, and failed, throughout history.

I think far, far too many people think that if they bang their head against the wall in a slightly different way, at a slightly different angle, at a slightly different speed, with slightly different amount of force, for a slightly adjusted amount of time, that they will cure the headache previous generations have left them with. The pain could never be of their own creation.

I think its time to go for popcorn!

Don't do popcorn, I prefer M&M's.  Just so long as the socialist leaning Dems don't get back in the Whitehouse in the immediate future, I'm good with that.

I don't have all that much longer to inhabit this miserable planet anyway and what transpires when I'm gone has no bearing on me whatsoever.  dead is dead.

I can deal with Whitmer and Nessel and their warped ideals.  Makes no difference to me other than my one vote.

It's official.

The City of Monroe Firemen still don't want the Public Safety Department to work.

I think its time to go full volunteer if they don't care to be part of the team.

Either that - or just pay Monroe and Frenchtown to put out their fires.  That would give them a brand new 7 million dollar fire station they still have to pay off.

I really question the leadership and management at the City of Monroe.  The council seems to be filled with idiots too.

I read that in the Monroe rag.  Must be the water in Monroe.

The could make the new fire station another 'Multi-Sports' complex and lose money on that too.

Big meeting in Deadfield tonight.  They are considering a cannabis operation right in town.  Might as well, nothing left in Deadfield except a gas station the Catholic Church and a funky auto repair business..  Thats it.

I figure it will be a gold mine for the Lenawee County Sheriff and the MSP.  They will be hovering around issuing citations for everything and anything and busting dopers too.  Should put Deadfield on the map.  The Testicle festival is about it for entertainment.  I'm not fond of deep fried bull balls anyway.

I assume they would just give it to the Battlefield for $1 per year - but still collect the fire millage money from the residents.

That is their style.
