Gee Ask and Ye Shall Receive...

Nice to see some crimes being solved.

How could they not catch him?

Dude had been busted 35 times.

I guess the better question is why and the hell was this guy not in jail already?

Shoplifting crimes must be the easy ones to solve...

http://www.monroenews.com/news/2015/jan/21/suspected-shoplifter-apprehended-downtown-monroe/

Someday they will solve the murders and bombings and heck maybe even catch a heroin dealer.

Must be those pics that even a police officer could pick up on that should be fighting fires, aye?

We know that police work for some just doesn't work...

Yeah let me hang out with a 15 yo and let him into his classroom after hours?

How does the school leave someone with a master key that isn't an employee?

This one isn't a 'Monroe County' crime but may have ties to the county...    home breakin and then hit the woman who owned the home.  The car has Michigan plates.  It's a Pontiac G6...   there's a partial plate number at the end of the video:

Has Bedford Schools released indisputable video evidence of a crime, then destroyed evidence - and no one cares because a football was underinflated?

Bedford has released surveillance photos showing two people (probably easily identified by those familiar with them) walking the halls at the school and apparently entering certain classrooms very late at night.  I can't say if that is a crime or not  but it doesn't seem like it would be.

Deleting the photos on the cell phone (especially in good old 'hindsight') probably wasn't the brightest idea if they did want to pursue criminal charges.

And I really doubt any of those involved care any more about the under inflated balls than I do ;) ;) ;)

I would say as an instructor - if someone was snooping through my tests and other students works - it rises to a level beyond just trespassing.

I find it hard to believe the administrator was that incompetent, allowing the erasure of "evidence" of a potential crime...   probably being buddy buddy with the former liaison officer/sheriff deputy.

Think of the role models - An Administrator at Bedford and a Police officer   - participating in a cover up.  Makes one wonder if someone of importance in the community's kids were involved  8*

Not the lesson you want to send to the students - "hey have a buddy and you can sneak, steal, and cheat and not get expelled."

They should set up stings and let the baby formula thief trade it for drugs  -  as it seems "HE" knows where to find the dealers...

I'm already bored of this.

Much less crime in Monroe undoubtedly.

http://www.monroenews.com/news/2015/jan/24/armed-robber-leaves-behind-his-wallet/

Charlie Slat's column in the paper Saturday was on this topic...

basicly all the people on social media are just whining because the crime is about where it's always been and the statistics prove it as long as you know how to read them!!!   That was part Charlie and part from the chief of police!!!

I guess they figure as long as they keep telling the citizens that things are going good 'some' will buy into it.

Hopefully the MonroeNews will post a link to the article today...

btw...   does anyone know what area of the city the Police Chief resides in?

Anyway, I caught Charlie's message 'loud and clear'...
