Monroe... the pizza capital of Michigan!
« on: August 25, 2015, 10:16:39 AM »

I know it's common to hear someone on here comment about 'another pizza joint' every time a new one opens up in Monroe but I guess I never took time to actually count them all.  But someone has counted them and calculated the stats for every state.

And in Michigan...  the Numero Uno pizza town is actually...

Monroe!!!

Interesting that we're still actually in the lower half when they look at towns across the entire country.

Pizza restaurants per 10,000 people. Makes some sense, we have pizza joints on almost every corner, but a lot more people live up here.

I'll take Costco pizza over most of them.

It seems like every time there is a new gas station opening, we get another pizza place.
I heard we got a Papa Johns near O'Reily's. No Dominos yet again in the area.

Was eagerly awaiting Poppa John's, as never had one.  UGH  Will NEVER go back there again.  Whole family turned nose up to 2 different types.  Guess I will stick with Guiseppes, who in my opinion is one of the best around

I always try to stay away from most any food place until they get the bugs worked out.

We've had their pizza before and it's 'just another chain'.

I agree 110% on Guiseppes!

Somebody recently told me their experience with Papa Johns.

They found a hair in their pizza.

And when they complained...they received a credit for a future purchase...but they said they'll never go there again.

The problem could've just been the specific location they visited...but I didn't catch where that was.

This is what I see when I visit:

"Sorry Frenchfry, you are banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum.
This ban is not set to expire."

No emails, no warnings, no communication whatsoever...just that ban

May be what happened to the other libs as well.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

Enjoy your spoon-fed Faux News type right-wing echo-chamber.

Edited to add:

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.

I heard a comment on TV today that around 17% of the restaurants in the US serve pizza...

what would the percentage be in Monroe?
