BRD, I think your question is best answered in a manner similar to the way many Eastern based religions do when faced with paradoxes:

"Are you gulping them or snorting them?"

I found it.  Okeeffe's

Yes...

we've used that in the past and had pretty good luck with it.  My wife would get it at Kroger and then she couldn't find it anymore.  We found it at TSC on Sunday so bought a can of the cream.

Both of our hands have been doing pretty good the last week or so.  Hoping were past it for the winter.

I've cut back on the 'fast Orange' so hopefully that was what was causing my issues.

When we get to Florida I'm going to look around and see if I can find what the original orange hand cleaner was because it didn't seem as 'harsh' as what GoJo is.

We brought our tub of O'Keeffe's with us and they sell it at the local TSC but I only used it the first few days we were here and my fingers are just fine now...

With the humidity being so high and my hands not getting so dirty that I'm having to scrub them so hard all the time I think I've turned the corner ;) ;) ;)

A mechanic friend of mine always rubs thick hand cream into his hands before he starts work.

That's funny, I do the same thing sometimes when working on some things too.

A few companies make a pre-work cream that is some kind of soap to stay between skin and the grease.  I've never really found one I liked though.  I use the nitrile gloves more and more which helps a lot...

but sometimes you just have to get 'dirty' to have fun...

If it's not messy then you're not doing it right ;) ;) ;)

Maybe you should use K-Y Jelly or Baby Oil.

My wife bought some organic unrefined coconut oil to use on the dogs.  A gal at the store said she even used it on her varicose veins in her legs and on the wrinkles on her face!  Seemed like it was pretty magic stuff so I got to checking it out for preventing finger tip splitting...  works for that too!!!

How to heal cracked fingertips naturally at home? You can try another remedy – pure coconut oil. This ingredient is great in fatty acids that can improve your skin, hair, and nail. In addition, coconut oil is used in weight loss, prevent cancers, relax, reduce risk of heart disease, boost up brain function, etc. To get rid of cracked fingertips, you can use coconut oil directly on your skin and wear soft gloves overnight to get the better effect.

Interesting...

almost twice as much (for this size jar and brand) at Amazone as what we paid at Publix (local grocery chain).

It's interesting to watch the jar just sitting here...   in the morning it's pretty much a solid but as the temp warms up just a few degrees it switches over to a liquid.

Wonder what it will do in the winter at home?
