Aw an F1 car.  All open wheel cars just sound like a swarm of bees.  Give me a nice big block.  Nothing is better then hearing 43 nascar engines all rev up at once when the green flag comes down.

F1, even though I don't like it, is pretty much the ultimate in racing technology, and, an engine that revs past 10k RPM all day long, is pretty damn cool.

Bigblocks in NASCAR?? You have to go back pretty far to find that. The engines they run in NASCAR now are all pretty much identical 358 C.I. smallblocks. They all make right around 700 hp, all make exactly the same sound..they're all installed into identical cars, except for the paint and decals...NASCAR has never interested me.

I dig the drags, World Rally, and Aussie V8 Supercars. Oh, and vintage racing when it's on Speed Channel. The 60's Can Am cars are just plain cool.

your right about them being small blocks in nascar chad I was wrong.  You know how it is, different strokes for different folks.  I love nascar and can not stand watching things like drags for 7 sec. then wait minutes for another race and your driver is on the track for all of 30 sec if the win the event.

Cars, the smell of racing fuel, girls.....did I mention girls? Hooters girls, bikini clad girls, drunken "you wanna see my tits" girls? Yeah, NASCAR can be cool, I just don't care all that much about watching identical cars turn left all day. Plenty more to watch at a race.

Just like any sport you have to have someone to watch for it to be interesting.  You need to have some kind of vested entrust for you enjoy really.  IMO.

And for a entertaining race MIS sucks.  Yes I go because its right down the road, but the racing sucks.

And if everything was the same then it would be huge pack racing,  it gets broken up because everything is not the same.  You have engine builders, body fabricators, and different people to set up the whole car.
