Getting real tired of reading in the print newspaper sensationalized lies, thinly covered up by idiots that know nothing about what they are publishing...
Case in point, Yesterday the Blade did a front page story on the Texas Church shootings. Nowhere, did they mention that in fact, a private citizen shot the perp in the parking lot of the church prior to his jumping in his truck and speeding away with the private citizen(s) in pursuit (and relaying their location to police dispatchers. The perp took his own life (self inflicted gunshot) and crashed the truck, long before LE arrived on the scene.
Nothing was mentioned in the story. What was published in the Blade was the fact that the perp used an ASSAULT RIFLE to kill the churchgoer's.
Fact of the matter is, what is the definition of an 'assault rifle'?
In actuality, any firearm used for killing other humans can be deemed an assault weapon. Don't have to be a rifle, could even be a hammer, then it becomes an 'assault hammer'....
Don't think the Blade staffers have any idea but then 'fake news' is about sensationalism, not presenting the facts as it should be with upstanding journalism.
I get real agitated reading that drivel because it turns the unknowing and uneducated public against firearms in general.
Today, it's sad you have to wade through the BS to get the facts.
The Blade should be ashamed of itself.
At least the MN didn't go that route. as typical, they just pulled the AP wire story and didn't add their own 'relish' to the report.
One of the Nation's 'Great Newspapers'...right. A scandal sheet and fear monger and little else. We get it for the ads and coupons but it has little viable content, however, it's loaded with opinions and bullshitte.
