Michigan Governor Race
« on: May 31, 2018, 08:37:09 PM »

I'm watching the Michigan Gubernatorial Debate on PBS.

I can't believe that these clowns think they are qualified to run a pay toilet, let alone the state.

The Democrats all want to raise taxes, and Gretchen has a potty mouth and keeps cussing.  The Democrats are all of free education - public of course, free college, and free healthcare.  Free stuff for everyone.

Schuette and Calley....  They can speak all day long and say nothing.

I kind of like Patrick Colbeck.  He actually seems to have some clue, and be a small government kind of guy.  He actually cited the State Constitution at one point.

It's going to be a shite show I think.

I love watching the Democrats try to make hay by blaming Flint on the Republicans.

Who runs that city and county again?

Who ran them into bankruptcy?

Yep - it's all the Republicans fault.

I'm bracing for 4 years of tax and spend...   at least they fixed the false "early retirement" penalty on my pension - so I'll break even.

But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.

Yep.

Gretchen wants to spend 3 or 4 billion with debt, and give all the teachers a raise.

Definitely all for bigger and bigger government.
