John VanSlambrouck - RIP
« on: March 09, 2019, 11:24:46 AM »

I got to know John when I first started to serve on city boards, and I learned much from him.

He truly wanted to do what was best for his community, and looked at serving as Public Service.

He always the community first - and I never learned anything about his party affiliations - if he had any, or political leanings.  It was just community service - do what you think is in the best interest of your community and it's citizens.

I wish there were more people like him around today.

I too had nothing but positive interactions with Mr V. He was friendly and fair anytime I ever dealt with him.
