Trump Impeachment
« on: September 24, 2019, 06:38:20 PM »

Can we really call this an Impeachment Proceeding - when Nancy is afraid to have her Party vote on it?

Even as she is "protecting" the Constitution she doesn't bother following it.

So - let me see if I can follow this story....

Joe Biden has a son.

While Vice President Joe's Son becomes a very successful business person - even though he doesn't seem to possess any value added knowledge or skills for all the ventures he touches.

Joe's son runs amock of some Prosecutor in the Ukraine.

Daddy hops into Air Force 2, flies to the Ukraine, and threatens to withold financial aid unless the Prosecutor going after his son is fired.

The Ukraine caves - and fires the prosecutor.

Joe - pretty proud of himself - gets recorded bragging about it, and how he pulled it off.

Trump calls the Ukraine President - to talk about something.  Not sure what, we don't have transcripts - yet.

A "Whistle Blower" accuses Trump of threatening to withhold financial aid - unless the spill the beans on Joe and Company.

Some Idiot Democrat accuses Trump of TREASON, and demands he be put to death.

Nancy declares we are in Impeachment proceedings - even though she won't let Congress vote on that.  Not exactly following the impeachment playbook as laid out in the Constitutions.

The crime?  Trying to collude with a foreign Government - to fix an election.  Where have I heard that before?

What a joke.  Biden flew his kid all over the planet taking bribes from foreign Governments - and it is TRUMP that they are going after?

The Democrats are totally unhinged.

This has been the Democrats playbook forever. They accuse the republicans of doing what they did. So far it has worked for them because the repukes are gutless.

My only conclusion is the Dems are attempting to take out Biden and Trump in one effort.

I think they will only destroy themselves and Biden.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on Facebook from TV13 about all the political crap. Surprisingly the majority of comments are supporting Trump

Did anyone read the transcript of the phone call?

It seemed EXTREMELY cordial to me.  The two of them were slapping each others backs.

When Trump talked about aid - I didn't read it that he was doing anything to threaten ours.  He was VERY critical of the help our European friends were giving.

When he started to talk about investigations - he only asked that he take the AGs contact and cooperate with him.  They both agreed that going after corruption was a priority.

I didn't see a high crime or misdemeanor.  The call seemed professional and friendly.  Made me proud to be an American.

The only way I do is if investigating a presidential candidate is somehow a crime.  However - if that is the case - isn't Obama guilty as heck?  He bugged Trumps phones for crying out loud, and had a circus that went on for 2 years - all based on fabricated information.

So - I guess in recent history we DO have precedent that it is AOK to investigate people running for Prez.

Let's hope. But I have some random thoughts. We miraculously were able to elect Trump in 2016 to drain the swamp despite the opposition from Dems, Republican establishment, the MSM, most all of TV news, and the deep state bureaucracies. They haven't taken kindly to this intrusion of the status quo. Globalization was the future, no matter how many folks lost their jobs in the heartland and Trump said BS. I'm going to be an American President who puts Americans first. No more of these BS trade agreements where we virtually always were getting the short end of the stick. Then there's China really doing us dirty.

Trump is disrupting the harmony between the globalists, warmongers, anti-American left etc. etc. of this country. Therefore must be destroyed. Is there any doubt I'm right? Dems and MSM (I repeat myself) have been working to impeach Trump since the day after his election.

I think you’re right. Trump is a threat to disrupt the globalization and eventually destroy it. The other countries are not going to come to our aid when all of us are unemployed and broke

Barack Hussein Obama brought the IRS down on the Tea Party, blamed an obscure youtube video for prompting the attack on Benghazi and that's no big deal to the Dems/MSM.

Then there's now. So let's get this straight. Trump asks Ukraine to investigate how Dems used Ukraine to influence the 2016 election in their favor, and now Dems are up in arms because Trump asks current Ukrainian administration to cooperate with the Barr DOJ to bring to light the past Dem malfeasance. Therefore, the takeaway by the Dems/MSM is Trump is attempting to use Ukraine to influence the 2020 election! Priceless.

Lost in all of this was Trumps speach at the UN - which promoted an idea where each country should do what is in the best interests of THAT country.  Nationalism.  He went right into the den of Globalism - and laid out an excellent case that the obligation of each country is to its own citizens.  I couldn't have agreed with him more.

It got ZERO coverage.
