I saw two trucks (green flashing lights about 1/4 mile apart) on SB I75 near South Rockport about 6 am.   I was headed north so I couldn't see the trucks very well in the dark, but someone was scrapping the highway.   Maybe they are ramping up the team.

Maybe they actually were able to hire some warm bodies....  Last I heard they had 3 employees total.

White cabs with silver (aluminum dump boxes) with green and yellow flashing lights.

Not going to get an 'experienced' plow drivers because there aren't any and a lawn service plow truck driver and a road plow driver are 2 entirely different things.  Plowing a parking lot or a residential driveway is nothing compared to road plowing in traffic.

Not a good deal.

I would have though that Moron county would have released some employees since they aren't working state roads anymore.  They sure didn't put them on our local roads the last snow we had

Dandy Randy Pierce said they did (a bang up job) on local roads.  Could have fooled me.  Never saw a Road Commission truck anywhere on Monday or Tuesday.

In fact the ONLY truck I saw was a Ferrovial truck northbound on 23 on Wednesday plowing off the berms.  Thats is it.

I call BS on that.  Also see J Henry Lievens is whining about the job Ferrovail didn't do.  He's one to talk, head hypocrite of the County (comedy) Commissioners.

I know too much for my own good I guess....

Drive to Adrian this morning, went down our road and as soon as I hit Lenawee County, the road was scraped bare.  In fact all roads were clear and dry.  Amazing in as much as Lenawee County don't do state roads either.

Moron County, the armpit of Michigan.  Dubious title I'd say.

Just patiently waiting for the next blast to see how bad it will be.  Why do I think it will suck?

I drove down Newport Rd today.   It appears the Ferrovial yard is north side on Newport Rd near I275.   I saw 5 or 6 white trucks with about 6 men working around them.

Got off of I275 to Eureka going to the airport.  The exit had some snow/ice in a couple of places and there was lots of snow/slush from the white line to the berm...  Hopefully they get it before we get a lot of snow.

They have a good highway department, always have.  Like Moron County, nice cushy union job.
