An Amish recipe
« on: January 02, 2008, 10:17:54 PM »

I am not amish but this is something my mom made a lot and my husband just loves. It is quick, easy and cheap!

Yumasetta
2 lbs hamburger
1 bag egg noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can tomato soup
1/4 c brown sugar (or to your liking)
2 c of shredded cheddar cheese (or more of you like)

Brown hamburger drain, add tomato soup and brown sugar. At the same time cook egg noodles, drain, then add cup of cream of chicken soup, mix.

Layer Egg Noodles, Hamburger and cheese twice is casserole dish. Cook in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes until cheese is melted.

made this today.....pretty yummy.  Hubby loved it.  It was a little dry I think I needed more soup mixture.  Next time I would use 2 cans of cream of chicken and 1 1/2 cans tomato soup.
