Beagle Best of Show @ Westminster
« on: February 13, 2008, 08:41:11 AM »

I just love beagles. Some of my family have beagles. They are such good dogs.
They use them down in Austraila @ airports like we do German Sheps here. We may use them here too for all I know...

Three Barks for Beagles!
&
*Congratulations* UNO!! First Beagle ever to take best of show!

I saw this on the news last night.  I was surprised a beagle had never won before.

Ya, that is kind of surprising. I missed the show on tv, caught it on the news today, and it cracks me up how the dog was barking and howling thru the show! :D

We watched a lot of the dog show (including last night).  That beagle was really a perfect little dog.  My nephew was very excited.  He lives with us and has a beagle puppy (about 9 months now), so he was psyched to see "his breed" win.

His beagle has a really, really obnoxious loud bark.  I was waiting to hear it out of the one in the show, but I guess the trained ones don't drive their owners crazy, LOL.

I think you animal people need a new category...

"Pets"

This just doesn't belong in "Nature and Environment", it has nothing to do with either... :P
