Milan secretary of state branch

What do you think of the Milan secretary of state branch merging with the one in Ann Arbor? Will the new center with its expanded services be a good thing, or is this an inconvenience to Milan residents?

Do you have a link to the article, or just somewhere with more information about it? My gut reaction is disappointment .. I've always gone to the Secretary of State in Milan rather than Monroe when I wanted to avoid the long lines; plus it was a shorter drive from Dundee to Milan compared to Dundee to Monroe.

I heard from a guy at work the other day that he went to one of the super-sized SOS offices in Oakland Co, only a 3 hr wait.  ::)

Furthermore, there is now a bill in the house/senate that may keep the Milan branch open (if it seems to be profitable as an independent branch).  ;D
