Yeah, what's the big deal?  I'd be more concerned if somebody found a "Covenant Sniper rifle" or a "Brute shot."  That would suck ::)

I'd really worry if there were dual needlers in that room

What are dual needlers?

Oh Chips you better beware the Dual needlers.

Dual needlers is probably the most underestimated weapon pairings available, and probably the most powerful as well. Needlers have an incredibly fast rate of fire, are heat seeking, do initial damage then explosive damage, and you can pick up usually 80 to 160 ammo after each bout of gun fighting (in campaign mode). The only bad thing about needlers is the fact that they ricochet off shields and some body armors (for example, Hunters and the Elite Guard). They are not recommended for fighting shield wielding enemies, Hunters, Elite Guard, or Infected Flood (as they are extremely quick and will most likely do damage to you before the needler shots explode in them). In multi-player mode with friends, there should be nothing more feared then dual needlers.

If you had young kids around, you would know this stuff.

Slanted view on liberals?  Are you saying liberals are generally not anti-gun?

I'd probably be considered liberal, but I also support full gun rights (as in, residents should be allowed to own firearms of various calibers, with some conditions of course).

Quick refresher. 2nd Amendment 101.

Shall NOT be infringed. What shall not be infringed?

The right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms.

Peace.

Just about everyone that hunts has at least one scoped rifle, and a lot of people have bipods also. Does that mean there are millions of "sniper" rifles floating around the U.S.? The term "assault rifle" is used by the media to describe an awful lot of legal semi automatic rifles that are used in violent crimes. It's a very ominous sounding term that helps get the attention of the reader. It is also a very misleading term.

I know that story. It's what started Michigan's CCW law.

Gun control is an accurate sight picture, and a gentle squeeze of the trigger.

Lordfly, you say you support "full gun rights", but then you say "with some conditions of course".
What conditions?  To me, full gun rights means unrestricted gun ownership.  Just curious what you meant.

In case anyone hasn't heard of Dr. Ossian Sweet, here is the story.  I found this at the National Park Service website, at http://www.nps.gov/history/nr/travel/detroit/d4.htm

The home of black physician Ossian Sweet became the site of a racial incident that resulted in a nationally publicized murder trial. Dr. Sweet, a graduate of Howard University Medical School, bought this two-story brick house in an all-white Detroit neighborhood in 1925. On July 14, the neighborhood's residents protested his plans to move in and stated that they intended to retain what they called "the present high standards of the neighborhood." On September 8, Dr. Sweet, his wife, and nine gun-carrying associates moved into the house under police escort. The next night a large crowd of whites began pelting the house with rocks and bottles; they then rushed the house. A volley of gunshots issued forth from the second story windows, killing one man and seriously wounding another. The Detroit police arrested Dr. Sweet and his companions and charged them with first-degree murder. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) hired Clarence Darrow, America's most famous lawyer after his defense of evolution in the Scopes Monkey Trial, to defend Dr. Sweet. After 26 hours of deliberation, the jury returned without a verdict. Judge Frank Murphy, later to become governor of Michigan and a member of the U.S. Supreme Court, declared a mistrial and released Dr. Sweet. Subsequent trials upheld the right of Sweet and his companions, regardless of race, to protect life and property in dangerous situations. Today the Ossian Sweet House continues to illustrate the role of "ordinary" places in the extraordinary history of American race relations.

The Ossian Sweet House is located at 2905 Garland Road, south of the Edsel Ford Freeway. The property is not open to the public.

I don't know anything about guns so I can't really join in your conversation, just wanted to throw it out there that I would consider myself liberal and I am not anti-gun. I would even support having a gun not registered...that way if/when the elected officials become a dictator bent on exterminating an entire race we will have some guns that are not known to the government.

[I don't really think anything like will ever happen but I'll bet the people who allowed Hitler to take power didn't think it would happen either. You can never be over prepared.]

I don't know, haras00, maybe you're not as liberal as you think.   ;D ;D

You do have a good grasp as to what gun ownership is all about, though.  The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting or sporting-type firearms.  It was written so the average citizen could be armed, in case they were threatened by anyone, including governments - foreign or domestic.  This includes terrorists.

The only thing the NAACP and KKK agree on is.... that black people should not own guns.
